Best Team in the SEC....BY FAR

Oklahoma looks legit... we may have trouble with them. Their defense is fast and physical.
OU's defense is stout and brings the wood. They also have just the kind of QB that always gives us big problems.

But it's too early to worrying about OU, right?

OU basically brought in a QB and OC combo that have been together for years. Venables will always have a solid defense.

I live in Augusta, Georgia. I was at my favorite watering hole today. The die hard UGA fans are legitimately worried. Rest easy VolNation. The UGA fans will not!
Augusta is one of my favorite towns - if only for the existence of James Brown Boulevard.

Great avatar, brother.

No one comes close to us in the SEC. We dominate both sides of the ball. Everyone else has SIGNIFICANT question marks.

Heup gonna make a statement next week against Kirby. I'm predicting 45-13.

Vandy might be the best team in our schedule.

Get ready to host a CFP game in Neyland!!!

True, but Mateer is still a big, strong kid that can run and is hard to bring down. If you don't contain him and force him into making some bad decisions, he'll make you pay.

I think it could be a very intriguing SEC matchup once the dust settles as both teams look like they could be (quietly) SEC Contenders.

While I must admit, I’m certainly not sold on the Vols being the Juggernaut you think they are, you might prove prophetic about next week. I’m afraid that our OC Bobo couldn’t coach himself out of a wet paper bag and that could very well be the difference.

Who knows though, next weeks game will tell us much. If I’m being completely honest, I’m very worried. Time will tell, until then, cheers!!!
I got UGA winning until Heup can prove he can beat Kirby. Should be a great game but surely Kirby was keeping it vanilla this week right?

Honestly, you might be right. That would be in-line with Kirby, I’m just concerned bc I honestly don’t have much faith in Bobo. I think it will be a good game likely, I just have little faith in Bobo calling the right plays in a close game in Neyland Stadium, so I’m worried.

We beat a team in week 1 that barely beat UConn. Yes we beat the brakes off of ETSU but that is a given. Don’t put the cart before the horse. We have several hard sec games ahead of us. UGA is the first and prob the toughest

Can we all just agree that we are just happy not to be Florida?

Their remaining schedule:
@ #3 LSU
@ #5 Miami
#7 Texas
@#19 Texas A&M
Mississippi State
#4 Georgia
@ Kentucky
@ #20 Ole Miss
#22 Tennessee
#14 Florida State

I'm having a REEEEEALLY hard time seeing Napier survive that murderer's row.

I'm not going to say we are the best team in the SEC.

But I am pretty dang sure we'll be better than Florida.
