Amen, I love S&A's, but driving out to Farragut to eat there is a pain in the backside.

You do realize there is another S&A in town? Their other location is on Broadway in the Food City Shopping center at the corner of Broadway and Adair.

Guys I know this is way off topic, but I haven't lived in Knoxville very long and I need my hair cut bad. Can anyone tell me where a good place to get my hair cut would be that isn't too over priced and they will actually do a good job? Thanks in advance...

Barley's in the Old City has great pizza, but it's not the best sports bar.

On the strip, I like the bar area of Copper Cellar. Great burgers and decent steaks. If you are looking for just TVs, try BW3's. Decent wings and an OK menu.

Further West, Rooster's is good. Cheap beers and an OK bar menu.

Spice Rack is a pretty cool place. It is right of the interstate across from West Town mall. Not really a sports bar but has tons of TVs and comfy seating and GREAT food.

Best sports bar, imo, is Beef O'Bradeys in Farragut. Fantastic food, tons of tvs, good beer specials. Roosters is a close second. Cool Beans actually has some really good food (its on Lake Ave on campus).

And to the hair cut guy... Go to The Barbershop in Western Plaza off Kingston Pike near Fresh Market. Best hair cut in Knoxville, hands down.

Depends on what enviroment you like...personally I prefer Barley's and Hannah's downtown. If you are looking for a cool sports type atmosphere Ray's ESG isn't bad on Kingston Pike.

Half Barrel on the strip is pretty chill as well.

Roosters, Bailey's and some of the others mentioned are all fine choices, but I'm going to disagree about half barrel. It blows. Worst service I have ever experienced (on more than one occasion) and they have no parking for their customers, which is compounded by the fact that the parking lot nazis at copper cellar next door patrol their parking lot and have ALL non customers towed, and half barrel doesn't even warn people of this. One night i was there, copper cellar had at least 10-15 cars towed of people that were at half barrel.

Tom and Barry's on Northshore! Great food, tons of T.V.'s, Great beers on tap! all this and it's not smokey inside. If you dont mind smoke than it's Rick's place behind downtown west or Roosters on Northshore.

This^

Rooster's is by far the best sports bar. Get their smokehouse wings. Best wings ever.

The Hill on 12th and Laurel in the Ft. Sanders area (hard to find) is pretty cool and has cornhole and other games upstairs. No drafts though, only bottles.

Buffalo Wild Wings on the strip has good mainstream food and any game you want to see.

Bailey's has lots of drunk, trashy girls and any game you want to see.

Rookie's has even drunker and trashhier girls :eek:lol:

I love Barley's downtown, but it is for great food and great drafts. Sports is secondary.

The Roaming Gnome is good and will be full of coeds at the late hours. Their gnomettes (sliders) are frickin' awesome.

Downtown Grill and Brewery. Quietish, good atmosphere, good food. I usually grab a table upstairs and their other bar.
