Ok I am going to pick one player from each SEC school and assign them 5 points. You have to choose which player you want to take a point from and give it to another one. Once a player has lost all his points he is eliminated from the game. This will be the ultimate test to see who is the greatest of the SEC!!! Current Players excluded.

Alabama - Ronaldo McClain (5)
Arkansas - Darren McFadden (5)
Auburn - Cadillac Williams (5)
Florida - Tim Tebow (5)
Georgia - David Pollack (5)
Kentucky - Andre Woodson (5)
LSU - Joseph Addai
Mississippi - Michael Oher (5)
Mississippi St. - Ahmad Dixon (5)
South Carolina - Eric Norwood (5)
Tennessee - Eric Berry (5)
Vanderbilt - Jay Cutler (5)

No team biased! This is how it works.

UF's best player was Harvin or one of the all world DTs or DEs.

Auburn's was Ronnie Brown

LSU's was LaRon Landry

Ole Miss' was Patrick Willis by a mile

Alabama would have an argument between Rolando and Jason Smith

Tennessee you could debate Haynesworth and Henderson vs Berry.

This would be a fun game.....if TEBOW was not the obvious chioce!!!

No question he was the best in the last 10 yrs.
Now......MVP of their team......I would really look at Cutler as the most "important" to their team and program. He never had a winning season ....but HE made Vandy a team that could beat you!

I thought his list was a little off as well. I agree with yours, but an argument could be made for Eli at Ole Miss.
Edit: I think Josh Reed's last year at LSU was 2000. If so, a case could be made for him. What was Alexander's last year at Bama? Also, Norwood and Smoot would be above Dixon for Mississippi State.

I agree i didn't get the best player for everyteam...just trying to mix it up and get a fair balance. I should have put Dorsey, Landry, or Russell for LSU, and Willis was a obvious choice that I just missed...sorry!

I think you gotta throw Eli in there.

Jay Cutler's probably the best from Vandy in the past decade, but an argument could be made for Jamie Winborn.

And Corey Chavous

Helluva player. I thought about him, but think he left Vandy in 98, along with all-America linebacker Jamie Duncan.

Takeo Spikes left Auburn in 98 or 99 too, I think. Almost threw him in the mix as their best of the decade.

For that matter, when the hell did Tim Couch leave UK?...he'd be their best of the decade by a wide margin.

I think Couch's last year was '98, maybe '99. They had J-Load at QB at the beginning of this decade.

Exactly, someone must have put Oher up there for the "feel good" movie. P-Willis is one of the best LB's in the NFL, let alone Ole Miss
