Best resource to learn game of football? (wife)

Teach her the game. While watching or attending a field game, make her ask questions and try to explain how it works. This is what I always do for baseball.

This works best for me. Try not to laugh at your wife when she asks something that seems insane. They stop asking questions once you do that a few times.

Personally, girlfriends and sisters then the jokes are okay. Some dude's wife, not so much. Personal opinion, just saying I wouldn't make the jokes myself. Too each his own I guess.

What an idiot the OP is? You are making you and your wife subject to some cruel and offensive comments.

What an idiot you are for thinking I care. None of you know me and my wife and personally e-cred doesn't mean much to someone like me with actual real friends.

Your wife is welcome too. We need someone to play WR.

Classy and makes about 5 assumptions that may or may not be correct. Makes me proud to be a member on here.

Edit: in all seriousness guys, have your fun, don't care. Actually funny, just not my style. It's a forum of opinions, expressed mine. Not going after anybody. Try to talk to people like I would to their face in real life on here and wouldn't say that, but it's not an it's a forum so say what you want an so will I

I was looking to find a book, videos, or something else to teach my wife the game of football. Any suggestions? I would also like to learn more in-depth information to enhance my viewing pleasure. I think if my wife understands the game more she can actually enjoy it instead of pretending to enjoy it.
Take her to a few games. She'll learn eventually and she doesn't have to know everything. Main thing is be a fan of Vols.

You're taking this just a tad too serious. We need a TE too. You interested?

I must have gotten lucky. I normally get home and find my wife is watching baseball, football, college basketball, or nascar. She gets all sports and it and that makes me happy.
