I was looking to find a book, videos, or something else to teach my wife the game of football. Any suggestions? I would also like to learn more in-depth information to enhance my viewing pleasure. I think if my wife understands the game more she can actually enjoy it instead of pretending to enjoy it.

Just forget it if you want to stay married. Get some guy friend who love the Vols to watch with you.... :good!:

She must not follow Vol Nation forum either...Maybe we need to get Double D to have a Football for dummys at the new video center when its done....alot of NFL teams does this for woman because they tend to control some of the money at home....so what better way to learn and get new sales for Tickets..:)

Is this my wife? If not send your wife over and I'll teach her a thing or two about balls, I mean football.

Try the movie "The Blindside".

Its got enough chic-flick-ish qualities to keep her watching and goes a good bit into the aspects of college football.

If you have kids, try signing one of them up for a season. It's amazing how motivated the better half became when it involved one of the little guys

Teach her the game. While watching or attending a ball game, make her ask questions and try to explain how it works. This is what I always do for baseball.

Pick up Madden or NCAA football for the PS3/XBox. Easiest (and funnest) way to learn positions and the basics of football.

If you have a gaming system, get NCAA or madden. That's how I learned the rules/strategy for rugby.
