Best RB you have seen play for UT

chuck webb - as John Ward said a "star"
jamaal lewis
reggie cobb
charlie garner
johnny jones
travis stephens
travis henry

I never saw C.Webb or Cobb take a single snap at UT.

Best I ever saw was Garner or Henry both were freaking amazing.

Arian has been tearing it up this year but I believe Cedric Houston was faster than him....but Arian did something that Riggs & Houston could rarely do and that was make somebody flat out miss

justin, do you remember the Auburn game in the rain where we were on offense on our end of the field going right to left on the screen and reggie broke a slam play through the middle of the line, cut hard right to the sideline and outraced the entire auburn LB and DB's down the sideline to the endzone.

a great moment in UT football history, IMO.

one of my favorite runs in UT history.

he had another run against duke i think (yeah, OK, not a great stage) that was pretty incredible as well.

Auburn ? 10-3 UT ahead did it end in a tie 26-26
I was at that game....night game @ Auburn....believe it or not, I attended the Vanderbilt/Alabama game earlier in the day at Legion Field (had a Vanderbilt friend with me), we left at halftime bc i think the score was like 38-0

Webb was the best...but watching H Simpson score 5 TD's against ND in '79 was special to watch...

wasn't that the one where, when they did the coach's show the day after the game, majors almost scared john ward off the set 'cause he kept beating a shelalea on the desk after every good play was shown?

beattie was the first NFL player to rush for over 1000 yards in a season.

he held the NFL single season record for most yards per carry at an average of 8.44 yards per attempt. the record was broken by Michael Vick during the 2006 season.

heres a chuck webb brain buster.....please don't google to find the answer....Was talking to my dad about Chuck and he told me the answer....What was the score and the opponent UT played when Chuck went down?

I was at the game, it was Pacific, I don't remember the score at the time, but we won the game huge, like 52-0. I remember when Webb went down, I was thinking oh ****. He stayed down a minute or so, hopped up, and jogged to the sidelines. I kind of breathed easier. I remember the play, he ran right, stopped, and tried to cut back to the left.
