Best QB is Shrout

I’ve been in on Shrout for quite some time. He’s easily got the best arm on the team. With someone like that you gotta make it work.

Not as easy as it look. If you can make the throws JT did, then you need to walk-on.

I would have liked to see more of Mauer. He looks like he has the quickest release. Bailey looks like he has way more potential than JG, as does Shrout. I think Weinke absolutely sucks as a coach.

Was that a fluke? We all know Shrout has a good arm, he was impressive in his time in the game. Made the right reads, hit all the throws, and led the offense with efficiency. Bailey was good at times, but Shrout actually looked like a starting SEC QB for time there.

I'm just saying Shrout has a better arm, quicker release, accuracy is as good or better, and the kids is pretty mobile. Bailey better get stronger and a quicker release, because he doesn't have it now.

Being able to run the ball against a prevent defensive front makes the offense look a lot better than it actually is, but Shrout did play very good

This is the most laughable take I’ve seen. It was Garbage time, Florida had some* backups in, they weren’t rushing, they were sitting back. He made a couple good throws, but would have had the same results had he played the other 3 quarters that HB did.

He’s got a better arm, but the circumstances make it hard to judge much else.

It was garbage time but he did have 2 90+ yd TD drives, he is more mobile than the JG and HB, his arm is stronger and he made quick decisions. As others said, he threw the ball upfield and the last TD was a great pass.

HB did nothing to show he is the hope for the future. He missed open receivers up field, is not any more mobile than JG. UF is not known as a great defense and HB only had one decent drive. Did not even have a second drive that got the Vols into FG range. If HB is not the next big thing, there is no reason to give him time over a more productive and athletic QB.

He should get the start against Vanderbilt next Saturday.
