I’m drinking the juice to say the least on CJH, but that amazes me somewhat with all the great qb’s and players throughout the years esp the decade of dominance years…

I really do think he’s gonna turn it around and as a fan since 1984 and seeing the best Vol teams ever.. I believe he’s our new man that’s gonna get it done. It excites me to hear the guys talking national champions soon… I’ve been hearing chirps of this and this is positivity where the program is heading..

Really like CJH & staff & think they will put some exciting teams on the field in years to come. However, until recruiting improves not seeing many championships. Think AD White will give him everything he needs to win. Up to him.

Early morning drinking and posting should be banned offense..
Which is worse, early morning drinking or posting. I’m a realist, try not to judge. Say what you want, vent, puke if you need too. We’re all discussed with where the program is. We should be top 10 every year. Hire lawyers, financial advisers, Mafia enforcers, just make it happen.

Heh, some of those 1914 scores, though:

Sep 26 -- Carson–Newman -- W 89–0
Oct 3 -- King (TN) -- W 55–3
Oct 10 -- Clemson -- W 27–0
Oct 17 -- at Louisville -- W 66–0
Oct 24 -- Alabama -- W 17–7
Oct 31 -- Chattanooga -- W 67–0
Nov 7 -- at Vanderbilt -- W 16–14
Nov 14 -- Sewanee -- W 14–7
Nov 26 -- Kentucky -- W 23–6

Even more amazing is that these scores came in the days before the forward pass.

Go Vols!

I stuck around St. Petersburg
When I saw it was a time for a change
Killed the czar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain
Sorry Mick….that was an actress. The real Anasatasia lived out a long life in the Royalist equivalent of Witness protection until her death in 1974. Protected by the same people who keep Bigfoot and the Roswell aliens safe.

The REAL Lucifer would know that the City wasn’t called St Petersburg anymore at the time. It was renamed Petrograd to remove any Germanic associations once the War started.;).
But all that said, they really SHOULD have listened to Rasputin and his warnings

Another interesting fact is that Rasputin also survived and is an active member of VolNation

Until recruiting improves? 😆 😆 😆
He his hitting home runs left and right when considering where this program was 18 months ago. We'll have a championship caliber class this year. If he improves the 3rd class as much as he has the 2nd class over year 1, we're looking at the playoffs very soon. Playoffs by, or before, '25.

Yes, but a harbinger of the future came in “a Notre Dame victory over Army in 1913, [which] somehow earned the reputation as the game that pioneered the use of the forward pass and changed football. Irish quarterback Gus Dorais completed 14 of 17 passes for 243 yards, some to an end named Knute Rockne, in a shocking 35-13 victory. By then, the rules had been changed to eliminate the penalties for incompletions and throwing the ball over the center of the line.” The Early History of Football’s Forward Pass | History| Smithsonian Magazine
