1. Kobe
2. Lebron
3. D.Wade
4. CP3
5. D. Howard

Al Jefferson and Danny Granger are also ones that are very good but don't get enough recognition because their teams aren't as good.
Al Jefferson seriously? You'd take Jefferson over KG? Over Rasheed? Over Carmelo? Over Billups? Over Pierce? Over Bosh? Over JJohnson? Over Durant? Over Roy? Over Aldridge? Over Stuckey?

Forget it. There are hordes of players I'd build around before Jefferson or Granger.

Jefferson and Granger are 2 players that just don't get the respect they deserve is all i'm saying. They are 2 young players that have similar if not better numbers than everybody that you named (jefferson averaged a double-double) and any team would build around either one of them.

Each of those guys shows good numbers because they are on teams with absolutely no options.

So you would build a team around an aging KG? An aging Rasheed? An aging Billups? An aging Pierce? and 2 players that haven't really proven anything (aldridge and stuckey)? The other guys i can see building a team around more so than granger or jefferson, but not these guys.

that's fine. I always stick with guys too long and it's a problem. If you want young guys, those two aren't my choices. I'd go with Oden, Durant, Rose, Beasley, Mayo, JJohnson, Stuckey, Roy, Aldridge, Stoudemire, etc.

All of those are good choices and i like them, but my whole point was that they may belong in that class it's just that people rarely hear about them because of their team or nobody really hears anything from their area (minnesota).

Jefferson is solid and much better than Granger, but he's not taking a team to the promised land without some serious, serious help.

That's the case with all of them right now though and even when KG and Pierce won their championship they had each other along with ray allen. Sheed and billups had each other along with hamilton chauncey and ben wallace. I think all of those players have the capability to lead a team but they all need help to do it.

lebron....you cant compare chamionships in this because lebron has had no one to win a cship with. the ones that kobe has won, he had shaq. they both are 0-1 in championships being solo. honestly it depends on what part of their game your talking about. kobe is a better shooter but lebron is a better driver and can get to where he wants to.

LeBron's a stud, but he slashes no better than Kobe. Kobe is the far better offensive player and better defender. LeBron is a very good passer and boards reasonably well. LeBron can also defend much bigger people if need be.

Fine. But who'd make the better defensive end?
