Just wondering where everyone thinks the best place to eat is before the game. Walking distance to the stadium would be a huge plus and of course good food :good!:

A 6p kickoff makes dinner tricky. I'm not sure if I want to eat eat or just dogs at the game.
It may surprise you, but I've gotten a great burger at Cool Beans in the past. I also like that you can sit outside on their porch.
So where are some of the best places to drink before the game? We will eat anything. We are coming down for the UGA game staying Friday and Saturday night. I live in Nashville now and have been to a couple Vols games but it has been pretty much in and out after the game.
We are planning on making a weekend of it. Any advice?
Can anybody tell me some info about a bar that's close to 12th street on the hill? Over by the fair grounds and somewhat close to the Sharton.
I will say Cool Beans has some decent food. I love going there before games, but I'd like to find somewhere new to give a whirl. But Cool Beans is getting more crowded. I hate having to stand in line 15 minutes to get a beer.
Me and my friend went to Archers and it was ok but not as good as Ridgewood in Tri Cities. I have not ate better BBQ than Ridgewood anywhere I have been. I Wished Knoxville had something comparable.
