I’ve got a roku tv and YouTube tv app on it. Even with the price increase still cheaper than regular cable and that’s including my internet bill

Sorry. I have Firesticks. There are other devices that work. I haven't gotten it to work well on my LG Smart TV's but supposedly you can. For the money you save though, a Firestick is a good investment. You want the latest model and 4K.

Once you have a Firestick working, you can also download an app called Cinema HD. It has any series you can imagine past and present. Thousands of movies. I haven't searched for one it didn't have. It even has some that are on at the theater.

You probably know this but YTL has 3 streams, maybe go back to YTL and share the stream/cost with someone.

I tried that one but the best internet I can currently get is DSL. It didn't work well with that app. We're scheduled to get fiber in the next few months.

Just cancelled YouTube TV after 2-3 years with it. I had PS Vue prior to that. Decided to cancel after the price hike to $65 for channels i'm not interested in. Was very happy with it outside of that.

I tried Fubo TV for a week. Wasn't bad. Interface wasn't great and seemed to lag more than others. Also lots of extra channels irrelevant to me. For $60 just wasn't overly impressed and I'd rather just pay $5 more for YouTube TV if those were my only 2 options.

I tried Sling (orange + sports extra) for 3 days. It wasn't bad and functioned fine, but my biggest complaint is no local channels. So no ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox. Lots of sports on those. If it had locals I could see sticking with them.

I now am doing a trial of Hulu + Live TV. I've been happy thus far and will probably stick with it. The interface isn't as good as YouTube TV, but its still good. Its also $55/month and comes with Hulu so its a win.

My coworkers told me today that I need to watch this show... was told it’s similar to Sons of Anarchy. Will definitely check it out soon..

OP!! I’ve had YouTube TV since May and just canceled it Saturday due to price increase, constant buffering, Braves games being blacked out on, and the fact that I had FS Ohio and not Fox Sports South. The only thing I liked was the unlimited DVR. I’ve gone back to Spectrum with a no contract year deal of 125+ channels for $44.99. It’ll do for now 🤷🏾‍♀️
maybe try Hulu plus Live or Spectrum.....

Nice......ive had a couple different services over the years, but yeah you'd need a good internet speed. Very reliable, almost no buffering and they have a great channel guide.

I'm using tivimate. I think I like it better than other players.

You should be able to get the local channels with a $20-$40 antenna from Walmart. It's super easy if you have a window facing Sharp's Ridge, but having such a window is not required. Try putting in your zip-code at "Antenna Signal Prediction (antennaweb.org)" and that site will give you the recommended antenna size & type, as well as the optimal direction to point it.

This. I keep it for football season every year and drop it. Hulu live for 3 months. I have spectrum plus (10 picked channels plus all the locals on all TVs) for 20 a month and Netflix. I keep Netflix for my parents. The parents added Disney+ for my daughter.

Have you tried that other "fancier" one. I think NetTV uses it. I would use it if you could change the main screen to your own favorites rather than the ones they chose.
