He isn't the greatest, but he has by far the greatest improvement year over year since Ainge. In fact his improvement since UCLA has been remarkable. And you can see it every week. "

wow, that's sure saying a lot...crompton has shown the most improvement of any ut qb since the last ut qb.

I say, if your at the vandy game and u see anybody thats not on their feet giving this kid his due when they call out his name. Give them a swift kick in the butt. He deserves a standing o from each and every person in the stadium.

This was the point I tried to make to Lawrence Wright, who implied the only thing that Kiffin brought was a talent for recruiting. To manage a team and be able to get the talent that is there from a player the way he has for Crompton and Co. is a dream come true for the fans of the team.

Jonathan Crompton, a sincere thank you for never giving up.
Great point Girl.

For Kiffin, Chaney, and Reeves to turn this guy around after having him completely fall apart and get to the point of death threats is just amazing. Kiff and his staff should get COY just for getting JC to turn it around.

Best story in all of college football??????

Im surprised its not getting more national press. If you watched JC last year and you watched the last three games, you would swear that its a different player wearing #8. This kid couldnt do anything last year and the beginning of this year he was throwing it out of bounds when no defensive player was near him. Congrats to CLK, CDR, and CJC.

Crompton is having a great second half of the season, but like Coach Kiffin pointed out he can't do it without the production from the wide receivers. I am not intending to take away what he has accomplished, but I think the entire offensive team has finally jelled and solidified an identity.

Yea but none of them were taking the abuse and criticism that he was. I agree they all have stepped up but he more than anyone should be :clapping:

Crompton has made a believer out of me. Same with Kiffin. To go from the horrors of that UCLA game to the performance this past Saturday is stunning.

This kid is INSPIRING.

We have never put that many points on Memphis either. 56 pts. Good job to Crompton and his receivers and the oline for giving him time.
