The greatest game I've ever played = Don't really know. Madden 2005, GTA: San Andreas, and MVP 2005 are all up there for me. Then again, I'm almost exclusively a sports and shooting game player.
Morrowind, the original Unreal Tournament, Final Fantasy 6(released in the US as 3). If you say FF7 is one of the best, you clearly haven't played enough FF6.
i've never gotten through a final fantasy game all the way. i almost got all the way through X but got stuck on a part near the end when you had to battle sin. i got so frustrated i just quit. i might try and finish it up someday.

I've always thought VI was the best. The graphics were great for its time, but the storyline was what separated it from the rest of them.
I'm currently completing XII, as I never played it due to college before a few weeks ago. It's ok....I don't like the license system so much; it can make every character alike. X's did the same thing, but you had a set path that you couldn't deviate from until later on in the game. The storyline is a little slow.....I'm 40 hours into it, and I feel like I could explain the story in < 2 minutes.
If I had to rank the FF games (which are among some of my favorite games), it'd be:
VI/III
VII
X
VIII
V
IX
IV/II
I
X-2
XI <--garbage
I'm still undecided with XII. So far....I guess V<XII<VIII, but that may change.
I could some give me a rundown of what the Final Fantasy games are. I Gabr never played or wanted to play them, I usually stick to sports and FPS games. Posted via VolNation Mobile
COD4 might be the most entertaining, but for overall experience I'm going to have to go with an oldschool rpg "Lufia"...game was epic and had this high lvl dungeon where it was almost impossible to beat (I never beat it) 99 lvls without dying/leaving/saving...good times.
