Has anybody ever sat in the lower level endzone seats. I came across some very reasonable ticket prices in section M. Anybody know about this section?

Well I guess that is settled. So I assume tickets are pretty expensive for the Bama game, what would be my best bet?

Craigslist, here, scalpers on the strip...

I would honestly come down for the Oregon game if you are looking for an authentic UT atmosphere... its not an SEC opponent but our schedule is brutal this year and if you wait til the bama game, well it could be like 2 years ago...only thing is the humidity...

Bama brought a ridiculous amount of fans...all of them seemed to get in also...I wouldn't worry about finding a ticket this year...just finding the right price for you...

All good reasons, I'm there.

Why do I feel Ole Bear is just going to be too hung over to get the full effect?

That will be a problem, hopefully it is a 3:30 game because if it is a night game there would be a very good possibility I wouldn't remember the game. Thank you all for your help, when the time comes around I will contact you to meet up and drink beers.

YooperVOL, hitch a ride, it will be like a Grateful Dead tour but with football.

Why don't u just take in a Michigan game, Oh sorry I guess they'll suck more than we do next year. Go watch usc with coach douche instead of a Vol game. They will probably have a better team thanks to Carroll which in my opinion is a classy guy but for some reason I've always disliked and pulled against. :)

Whoever has the kiffin Douche picture is my kind of person.:good!:

Go Vols! If you're not there to bleed Orange then go somewhere else.

Go with Florida! Its a big rivalry game and its still summer, perfect weather for heavy partying!! Also, its usually a late afternoon, early evening game, 3:30 or 7:00 pm kickoff so you have most of the day to kick it in the sun and throw back a ton of brews or whisky sours!!

I agree with this 100% but the downfall is having to deal with the Jort wearing, Yankee transplant Gator fans that Guido up Knoxville...:eek:lol:

Salutations,

I am looking to voyage to Knoxville for a football game this fall. Currently, I am looking specifically at the Alabama weekend to visit (Due to it being a huge rivalry, weather turning sour in Michigan at that time, and work concerns). I was wondering if you people would recommend another weekend or would the Alabama weekend be a good choice.

Keep in mind my friends and I enjoy drinking a high amount of adult beverages. Thank you.

In addition, if anybody wants to hang I would enjoy that a great deal. Just keep in mind we are there to party. Thank you very much.

...ok, tell me you didn't scratch your head and then lol...(I don't care who ya are, that was funny!)

One consideration you might have is the weather in Knoxville. October is the dryest month of the year, usually. If the weather is good/perfect for football, it's usually in Oct. It can sometimes rain nearly every day for two weeks straight in Sep or Nov...but not "normally" in Oct. Not a light rain, either-a downpour. If I were hoping for good weather and watching a UT game and planning in advance I would pick any game in Oct.. Outside of football...E. Tenn. and the Smokies are quite purty that month, also.

Agreed, although it doesn't hold true as much in early October. I went to the Auburn game on October 3rd and the South Carolina game on Halloween last season. Not only was the outcome of the latter game much more enjoyable, but there was also no comparison insofar as the scenery on the drive from Memphis.
