Why don't they just title it ... "NCAA FB Coaches Ranked by Winning %" and take the drama out of it?

Spurrier should be somewhere in the top 25. He didn't even make the list. smh.

There's so many variables , like any list it's impossible. In a certain era you could recruit as many players as you wanted to, if you had the sponsors, keep them off your rivals team. Also certain teams just got on TV pre 1960, 2 stations NBC & CBS maybe 2 and at most 3 national games on Saturday & Notre Dame had contract with NBC. Then ABC came in circa 1960 to add another game. Florida State and teams like that started to get noticed then in 1980 ESPN got in the game and later FoxSports. Now all teams have at least a chance at TV games.
So basically some of the older, just a few teams got all the players just hard to gauge but fun to look at and talk about.

True on NBC contract but what I was referring to was they had more TV games than any other team up to & then got NBC,anyway. Definitely an advantage.
