Sorry if I'm too late for this conversation, but I only get a couple of days off a month and it's hard to catch up. I've had Verizon for 4 years now and it picks up great everywhere, even down in the country! They have great plans you can change at anytime. :D

I too have Verizon as does my wife, so the family plan is cool...unlimited in calling, which is nice. unlimited nights and weekends....only thing i dont' like is that there isn't a tower out where i live, so the only place i have trouble getting a good signal is at the house....i travel for work and i very rarely have issues while traveling....just at the house?! LOL.

I'm surprised at how many Vols have Cingular, /w Verizon being "The official carrier of TN athletics".

Verizon also picked up PTT services about a year ago... and the sheep now have a version of the Motorola Razr... I LOVE the LG phones they have.

So I got my new phone yesterday. I was looking at Verizon and saw this one. She went to show me the demo of Vcast and what clip was loaded but highlights from the UT/UK game! Needless to say she closed the deal w/ that one.

Service is much more dependent on your phone than your carrier. You can hit just about any cell phone tower with any provider and get through. Since roaming charges are becoming a thing of the past, it doesn't really matter who you are signed up with in regards to service. It's all just a matter of pricing and phone models available.
