Best album of the 90s?

I can hardly listen to that album from start to finish.

I almost have to skip "Alive", "Jeremy", "Black", and "Evenflow" to enjoy it.

Songs like "Once", " Garden" and my personal favorite song from that album " Porch " are songs that I can listen to all day though.

If any of you haven't seen the MTV Unplugged with PJ, I strongly suggest you do, was a very powerful perfomance.

Favorite overall PJ songs? Just listened to Porch and I like it a lot.

Not everyone can appreciate how good that CD was

Well then I guess you got me. I'll personally take Weezer over Pearl Jam, but I recognize that's not the norm.

Weezer is very under-appreciated, IMO. They have transformed themselves every album (except the Green album closely resembles the Blue), which is difficult to do when you already have a unique sound. Every time a Weezer album comes out, fans complain they don't like it because it's not the Weezer they know, and a year later it'll be their favorite.

PJ is easily the best American band of the last 20 or so years. IMO Weezer was never the same after after Matt Sharp left. I have enjoyed his Rentals record more than anything Weezer has put out post Pinkerton.

The pj movie was really good. Gives people a new perspective on the band.

My list:

Amorphis - Tales From The Thousand Lakes
Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears
Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark
Death - Human
Carcass - Heartwork
Opeth - Still Life
In Flames - The Jester Race
Metallica - Metallica/Black Album

It was an innovative decade for metal.

Also Pearl Jam makes me think of this amazing Legion of Rockstars cover now.

I'm as big a Pearl Jam fan as you would ever come across, I just can't really stomach the singles off that album anymore, they are just so played out at this point to me.

A 90's list of metal without " Cowboys From Hell " is lacking.

Ride - Nowhere
The Verve - A Storm in Heaven
The Verve - This is Music
Oasis - Definitely Maybe

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses (technically not 90s since it came out in 89, but still awesome)
