What other stadiums are a great place to watch a game? I was kinda wondering on the basis of how nice does the stadium look. How about traditions, stadium electricity, and just a fun all around trip?

Just trying to get a feel for some cool road trips in case the vols go.

I hate to say it but Alabama's stadium was pretty cool looking. My only problem with that place (besides the obvious) was the piped in rap music blasting right in the visitor section's ears.

I've been to quite a few USC games at the Coliseum and it is pretty cool, but no where near an experience at Neyland

georgia is worth the trip for sure.although i was kind of disappointed with the stadium.
had a good time in carolina too, but their fans were douches.still fun though.
vandy, well its Neyland west.just not as cool and a quarter of the size.a fun time with all the vol fans though

What about traditions that other schools partake in? I know we have rocky top and the T, what are some of the neat traditions some of these schools do?

Georgia Tech is a small stadium but its really fun to tailgate, especially if they are playing a quality opponent. They also have a lot of tradition. Clemson is great, so are Auburn and Ole Miss. Georgia has the best girls.
Fayette-Nam and Starkville have no redeeming qualities at all.

UGA is a great place to catch a game
USCjr isn't as bad as most think
FL was pretty fun (other than losing)

I've been to Auburn's campus (not for a game, but would like to), I'd also like to see a game at College Station

Auburn is a lot like Georgia, not a bad place to see a game. I was actually surprised at the fans. They were worse than UGA.

If you ever get the chance, go to South Bend. I really don't care one way or another about Notre Dame but the experience there is one every CFB fan should have in their lifetime.

Tell them we do that too on certain games

id like to break their hearts with that news, but they would tell me we are copying them. I remember seeing one time, I think it may have been the BCSNCG last year, but auburns band formed and A and the team ran out through it, I said on facebook that auburn was copying tennessee.

I've heard that they still have wooden bleachers. What are some of there little pregame or in game traditions. I always hear about touchdown jesus, I am not sure if that is a saying or if it has more to it.

Davis-Wade Stadium in Starkville has a pretty good gameday atmosphere. I've watched two games there. First one was Arkansas vs MS State last year. That place was electric that night, and the game didn't disappoint. Even though the game was in early to mid November, the weather was excellent. Gametime temperature was probably in the mid 50s. The second game I saw there was the homecoming game between UT Martin and MS State this past season. The crowd was smaller than the other game because of the matchup. The game was early November, and the weather was good, light jacket kind of weather. In both cases, there was plenty of tailgating and friendly crowds. The cowbell tradition is interesting, but can get annoying pretty quickly. If you're not sitting inside a section largely consisting of non-MS State fans, you should bring earplugs.

Edit: I forgot to mention the biggest freaking Jumbotron around. It basically covers the entire side of the football operations building in the south endzone. You could watch the game from outside the stadium on the north end if you wanted.

I have heard good things about MS stadium, but usually from MSU fans. It's good to know there is some good times to be had there.

This was exactly what I was about to say. The swamp is pretty cool also.
