Besides an injury to Dobbs, do you see any reason to play Dormady Saturday?

Hopefully Dobbs is healthy all year. I was curious if our offense was unproductive trailing going into the final quarter if there would be a chance he goes in to the game.

If we get behind big and Dobbs can't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside, I don't have a problem with letting D play.

While I have my doubts with Dobbs as a passer, I cannot discount him as a "gamer" when need be, ala Georgia last year and South Carolina two years ago. He can make it happen when he wants to

For him to get in the game, any game, Dobbs will need a concussion, a broken leg, a broken neck or all the above at the same time!

I think he should have already played several series this year if nothing more than throw the opposing teams defensive timing off.

Dobbs cant throw the ball downfield with any consistency and that is just pure fact. The coaches dont trust him throwing downfield. I believe in this game we have to let Dobbs playmaking ability as a runner out. He turns big games with his running ability and maybe that will open up the TE down the middle.

If we do the same thing we have done the last three weeks we will not win this game.

Anytime we've ever been behind we've relied on Dobbs to make plays to bring us back into the game. As someone said above, He's a gamer. People have that or they don't. There are plenty of good quarterbacks that can't elevate their game when necessary but Dobbs can and does. It's a shame it takes being behind for that to happen but short of injury or an absolute blowout either way I wouldn't take him out for anything.

Dobbs is 16-5 as a starter, and on a 9 game win streak. He's our QB, unless he is injured and can't go. Dormady may play if we blow them out as he usually does in clean up.

Heck yeah! After we steamroll the pathetic gators. We build our 4 touchdown lead. Quinton can come in and hammer the swamp donkey's team with two more touchdowns.

Vols march to victory 45 -gturds 3

If we play like Louisville and are winning 63 - 10, then yeah, Dormandy will play

:number1:It hit me this morning driving to work. This game usually always provides some surprises not mentioned in the lead up.

Coaching is coaching they probably are so inbred most of that stuff is fairly consistent across teams. Motivation and psychology are important - I think we play hard.

But what about the unexpected - Fake field goal, On-sides kicks, IS D or G ready to come in and drive the ball if Dobbs gets nicked up? Are we ready for every scenario. That is responsibility of head coaching.

Its going to be a fun Saturday!

I am deciding ahead of time to enjoy the game it could be monumental. But if we lose I am just going to not break anything and not turn on radio or tv till Thursday of next week!

GBO!

He can't get significant play time against our supposed cupcake opponents. Florida will be a fight start to finish, I don't see any garbage time openings for TN.
