Anyone checked it out yet? It's pretty cool. I like the videos they have, but they load slow on my laptop.

The video was awesome, and I love the fact that they have the picture of him knocking Moreno out on there.

Yeah that Moreno hit will reign as one of the best hits in all of college football for a long time.

i believe that if berry has a big year he should be on the short list of heisman candidates. but until the media stops giving reach arounds to the big 12 qb's and tebow, i just don't see him having a chance. he got robbed last year and we will be robbed of seeing him be honored again this year. hopefully, i am wrong. very sad that it has become a popularity contest versus the true intent of the award.

Got email from CLK:

Dear Vol Fans,

We’re only weeks away from the beginning of fall practice and I wanted to take a minute to let you know what’s going on around the program.

Since spring practice our guys have really hit the weight room and been working tirelessly, along with our staff, to be ready for the 2009 football season. The summer has provided a little down time for both our student-athletes and our staff to really get to know Knoxville, and my family and I are tremendously grateful for the welcome we have received from the community and Tennessee fans.

Earlier today we officially announced we will be promoting Eric Berry as a Heisman candidate throughout the coming season. We are putting our full support behind Eric and hope that we can count on your support as well.

During the season we’ll be featuring new videos, blogs from Eric and up-to-date information on Berry4Heisman.com . You can also follow Eric on Twitter and Facebook at berry4heisman.

We hope to see you Sept 5th in Neyland Stadium!

Go Vols!

Lane Kiffin

"And the winner of the 2009 Heisman Memorial Trophy is.......Eric Berry, Safety, University of Tennessee"

It's gonna be SO good to hear that, but then we have to listen to all the whimpering from USC about how Mays is better than EB14.

The site is ok. The constant chant is annoying and the navigation through the pictures isnt that good. They could have pulled better pictures too.

While I would love to see it happen, I agree with you...But that doesn't mean it can't happen...He will have to have alot of INTs and play both ways JMO

Playing on offense would be a huge bonus for him but I thought I read that Kiffin had decided against that. Its of course at least possible to win the Heisman as a defensive player, but tough against the current crop of QBs likely to be getting all the attention on the front end.

He got robbed?? When was the last time you saw a Heisman winner from a 5-7 team?

Yeah, Kiffin did say that, but he also said he would do whatever it took to win...Whether that means playing EB on offense, I don't know I guess we will have to find out, but you're right if he does play just Defense he could do it but it's a long shot...If Charles Woodson can do it though...Well you know where I'm going with that...But with Tebow, McCoy, and Bradford it would be really tough to outshine them

Woodson played offense and returned punts. IIRC, he caught a pass for a TD, returned a punt for a TD, and had a big interception against Ohio State, which is what catapulted him to the Heisman. No way Berry sniffs any serious Heisman consideration unless he does some of the same things.

A Heisman campaign is a waste of time unless Kiffin's planning to use Berry on both sides of the ball.

My sincere best wishes to Eric Berry in the Hypesman Trophy race. IMO, he is an awesome player, but I think it will be the same three-horse race as last year. UT's campaign is certainly appropriate and should definitely help Eric's chances of winning the Jim Thorpe Award -- which he should win, IMO. Again good luck to Eric.

Agreed...He is going to have to do it all....I would like to see him returning some punts or something and then if it works out for him(which with his ability you know it will)play him some on offense and get him the ball because he's going to make things happen

I really don't see Kiffin putting time and money behind something he isn't planning on following through with...JMO

what does W-L have to do with being the best player?
Truth is it shouldn't but the media and the people that vote for the Heisman think it does....The year Tebow won it, UF wasn't the best team in the country by any means but Tebow had the numbers to win it, that's the way it should be IMO...The Thorpe Award was a different story though, EB should have won that award

that's just sad that he needs to play offense to get a serious look. I'm not disagreeing with ya gator, but if Berry needs to play offense to get a serious look then i'd just like to see Bradford or Tebow play defense.

I think this campaign is more about hype for the team and program as much as it is about actually trying to win a Heisman.

While I certainly hope he wins it, I don't think it will happen.

We haven't had a heisman at UT in 110+ years of football, I can't see a defensive player getting our first with so many good qb's playing this year.

That being said, I wish i had a vote!
