All of us here at VolNation are proud of you Eric. If you do decide to leave for the NFL early (which I am sure you will), it's good knowing that we will have an outstanding and classy player like yourself representing the University of Tennessee. Thanks for all the memories. Now go show them Hokies what Tennessee Football is!!!:rock:

Way to go Eric. Very mature young man mentally as well as physically. He's a great reresentative of our beloved University and will achieve all he wishes @ the next level. Whoever winds up drafting him will get one of the most talented players to come out of Tennessee as well as the rest of the country in a long time. God Bless you and watch over you Eric Berry and be assured you will be greatly missed from the Big Orange Nation. ......Go Vols..........

I just mentioned to my wife that EB won the Thorpe award. She said, "well, what's that". I told her that it means that EB is the nation's best defensive back. Her response; "well we already knew that, didn't we?"

congrats to EB... he should be the 2x thorpe award winner though!...can somebody help me out...teblow didnt win anything did he?.. i didnt see his name come up as any award winner...

You're a Vol legend! The brightest spot in the program during your time on the Hill... and a leader in helping to get the program back on the right track in the Kiffin era.

Going forward... we know Evan is a solid verbal, but help us with Elliot, whenever you can spare the time!

Anyone know when the banquet is for the award and is it open to the public? I know its in OKC and I live in OKC so I was just wondering if there was anyway I could attend.

So proud of Eric Berry not only for his ability on the field but he has been a great role model and has conducted himself with class at Tennessee. I did not see CLK at the awards ceremony. I saw the camera show other coaches but not Kiffin. I would have thought he would be there.
