WalterFootball.com: 2010 NFL Mock Draft

interesting that Tebow is not the first gator drafted, but I agree with him going to Jacksonville.

Seattle Seahawks: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
I loved Seattle's 2009 draft, especially with the possibility of selecting in the top five in 2010, but Tim Ruskell couldn't get around to addressing the safety position. Looks like Brian Russell won't be deported after all. With that in mind, why not select one of the top safety prospects in recent memory? As a sophomore, Berry had 72 tackles, 8.5 TFL, three sacks, seven picks (two for TDs) and six passes broken up.

Eric Berry is going to dominate for someone....I would rather it be a team I would have a greater chance of watching on a regular basis, though.

I don't find it that interesting that Tebow isn't the first Gator drafted...there are some serious ?s about his pro potential....not so much for some other Gators. Besides, there are some good QBs on the board for the teams that need them. Tebow is a great college player, but the Gators are loaded at other parts of the team too, and I think those guys will have a much greater chance of being drafted higher than Tebow, considering the questions that surround his pro potential.

For some reason the site is blocked here at work, but I'm guessing Brandon Spikes is the first Gator listed. I'm not surprised at all that Tebow isn't listed ahead of him. I am one of the few NFL fans who actually thinks Tebow could make it as a successful QB. I'm not sure which team could fit him in the best. But if he gets a few years to learn a system, I really think there is nothing this kid can't do.

I hope Tebow is a success in the Pros. I guess that I am for the guy because so many people are saying that he will not be a good pro quarterback. However, I am more excited about his leaving.

The guy has been quite a force at UF...there's no doubt.

Berry to the Pats would be sweet. :)

I might have to die. Actually, come to think of it, that gives me a good reason to root for them this year...maybe they'll have too low of a pick to get him :). While having him close would be nice, I will likely be gone before he gets there....

doubt it. it always seems that they have such great seasons and then somehow pull around 20 draft picks and 2 first rounders. wtf? makes you scratch your head. i wouldnt be at all surprised if they win 12 games and still be high enough to draft EB.

Yeah, these mocks never make much sense to me. When a couple of preseason deadweight losers end up overachieving and land at 8-8+, and a couple more preseason contenders fall on their faces it makes these things ridiculously moot.

Predicting that Eric Berry will be drafted Top 5 if he declares is one thing, predicting he'll go to the Seahawks when the Seahawks haven't even played a game this season is stretching it a bit.

Yes. Yes it would. I imagine ballcarriers cutting upfield, when Jerod Mayo separates their bodies from the ball, Berry picks it up and dances around into the end zone...ah, what could be. Maybe we can fleece another top 10 pick out of an NFC West team. :post-4-1090547912:

actually spikes is the 4th gator listed.
it goes Carlos Dunlap at 6, Joe Haden at 11, Tim Tebow at 13, and then Brandon Spikes at 20...

this is a bad mock. cleveland with one overall chooses a qb?!?!? Not gonna happen. My prediction now is that EB will still be wearing orange next year. Unfortunately, Tampa.

Whoever wrote this draft is clueless. Brandon Spikes will be a top 10 pick.

I for one would be thrilled if EB ended up with the Seahawks, at my wedding I had a groom cake with a UT endzone and a Seahawks endzone, I love both teams. That would give the Hawks two UT safties in the backfield, EB and Deon Grant.

I do agree though that it is a bit early to be having mock drafts.
