So I've seen a few recent articles highlighting Berry to play on Special Teams and I'm wondering if we'll seriously see him as a kick/punt returner or is it going to fall on the freshmen to handle those duties... ???

I know everybody's talked at length about this being a MUST with the Heisman campaign for him but I never thought it would really happen. Okay, I must admit I'm still stuck in the Fulmer era where no good idea ever came to pass but I'd really be stoked if Berry were one of the main returners this year and not just a coverage man.

I'd love for Berry to be Woodson and Tebow to be Manning a la '97!!!

Go Vols!!!

He is mainly going to be used as a gunner on punts and coverage on kickoffs

I feel sorry for the Punt Returners

I wouldn't mind seeing him lay the lumber on Brandon James or anyone else for that matter, but I really love watching him make plays with the football in his hands.

Tebow already has one. This would be more like Berry being Woodson and Colt McCoy being Manning.

With the emphasis placed on causing turnovers this year, it wouldn't surprise me if he managed to get hold of the ball on special teams.

He needs to have some returns. For a D back to have any type of legit shot at the heisman he will be compared to the only previous db to win it. To do that he needs the ball in his hands. That is unless he gets double digit int's.

CLK is not going to deviate one iota from what he thinks puts us in the best position to win; just so Berry has a better shot at Heisman. If Berry doesn't win it by simply being the best safety in college football, well then he doesn't win it.

I can't imagine who could be better as a gunner on coverage teams. Incredible speed and hits like a truck.

I do not think we will see him returning kicks...He will be laying the lumber on the other side of special teams...I think this is a good thing as long as he stays healthy!...Man it is 1 day closer to Saturday!!!!
