I don't want it to sound like I'm anti-Kiffin (I hope he kicks arse and takes names), but I'm just a little reluctant to bow down in worship because the players and reporters are all of a sudden talking about how there's a swagger/new energy/attitude/competitive edge/whateverthehell. I realize that a new coach symbolizes a clean slate, but let's not kid ourselves into thinking that these kids were at Tennessee playing in the SEC and didn't already have a winning attitude and a strong competitive spirit. This isn't the first time that they've been excited to play football.

Last year it wasnt there. MOST of the players mostly on offense acted like they did not want to be at the games..they never hustled to the LOS of off the field almost used the whole time clock to get to the LOS. It was very noticible...It was almost like they knew that they were not confident and didnt want to be there..not to mention the sideline behavior..Guys laughing on the sidelines really hit a nerve...I cannot remember the last time that the sidelines were actually cheering and IN the game with the players.

Never saw a Fulmer practice but the open Kiffin practice I went to was intense. Very intense.

I believe we are going to see alot of HUSTLE this year. I dont think it will be half arse like previous years under the old regime.
