You're probably right, but never underestimate the power of momentum. 16-10 is a completely different kind of ball game in the 3rd quarter versus 22-3. But yeah, we probably would have lost anyway. I just wanted Berry to have another return for a TD more than anything. Here's the worst part...we still lose by 2 tds, easily.
This kind of stuff doesn't even matter anymore...
That's what I saw too. That's why I thought it was a touchdown to begin with. The ref that called it down was on the opposite side of the field and couldn't see it as well.I focused my attention on the ref right by the ball while berry was running it back. The ref did not signal the ball down until berry was into the checkerboards...

That's what it looked like when I saw it today. But anyway...I thought I heard Todd say he thought the ball was coming out before he hit the ground.
And I never heard a whistle.
It wasn't even close to being a fumble. The runner was down. The announcers and refs all agreed.
So I was just watching the Phil Fulmer show and I saw that fumble for the first time on TV and that definitely looked like a fumble. Maybe I didn't see it enough, but I'm thinking that should have been a TD for us and 16-10 game instead of a 22-3 game.
Did anyone DVR this game? When you go back and watch it over and over, was it as obvious as I thought it was?
I know it doesn't matter now, but I'm curious.
More than the BS calls, I'm pissed that our recievers don't know where the 1st down marker is , that killed 2 drives that I remember. Then there's our offensive line that can't pick up blocks, I thought that was supposed to be our strength this yr, an experienced line...and the sideline reporter is saying they are having to have things drawn out on the sideline on who's blocking who? WTH?
Yep, it was all the refs fault. Give me a freakin' break.
