Probably leads SEC freshmen with dropped interceptions as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Eric Berry fan...love me some #14...he's just had a little case of butterfingers recently.

He probably has the SEC's worst case of whiplash this week too after that Kentucky kid tried to rip his head off.

Probably near the tops in the whole SEC in pass breakups too. He has dropped quite a few passes lately though.

A dropped INT is still a pass break up and a positive for the defensive so Im not gonna complain about...Although INT's would have been nice :)

110 plays by our defense. I read that was a record for number of plays by a defense in college football.

I chuckle when the announcers mention how Vinson is a converted receiver, and then he drops an INT that hits him in the meat of the hands. No mystery there. :)

I was a little upset to see Vinson move from WR to CB, but after seeing him drop so mant INTs i realized why the move was made. He can't catch a cold.

Berry would have 2 more INTs if not for Hefney knocking them out of his hands.

I think once he get more experience, it'll be more natural for him. He was a highly touted WR recruit, and wouldn't have gotten there unless he had good hands. He doesn't look natural... yet.

No one has mentioned Berry's sure-tackling skills in this thread ... damn that guy is good.

Not to mention, if someone is running out of bounds or has been taken down, you always see #14 right there flying around. love it.

Berry knocked out a man that outweighs him by about 70 lbs... with his posterior.

Not that that wasn't scary... but Berry looked like he didn't even budge.

Not in most of the Vandy or 2nd half of the Kentucky game that I've seen. I want to believe in them, but the D-Line is the weakest part of our defense.

Their D next year is gonna be SICK. If the Vols can get better on the D-line, they ought to be very good.:p
