This is nothing more than a poorly-written written critique of gender roles from a feminist perspective. I'd like to note that I am a feminist, I just don't particularly like his writing style. If this is all they've been able to dig up, I'm quite sure that Bernie will have few problems with his reputation. Fox news is being as disingenuous as usual. Of course, you can't really expect the media to address real issues.
Can wait for Bernie to say that his own words misquoted him
He's already addressed this. It will not be big news. I'd imagine that the conservative circlejerk that is Volnation wouldn't know that though, as they prefer to be spoonfed by Fox rather than doing their own research and getting news from a variety of sources. Further, there are very few problems with what he wrote, beyond that he implied that men and women have certain fantasies. That is obviously untrue, but in reality he was just trying to illustrate a point, that point being that we ought to liberate people from harmful gender norms. His method was crude, but the message is quite clear and is something that only a misogynist would disagree with.
So you feel that same way if Bob Dole wrote the article?
I don't particularly care who wrote the article, so yes. Bob Dole probably wouldn't write something like that though.
Edit: I don't make judgements based on who is doing a particular thing. My judgements come from looking at the substance of what they are doing. Hence why I support some of the recent actions of Rand Paul despite disagreeing with him on a number of other issues.

I think Bernie potential polices are much more dangerous that his writings... It will be hard for him to gain traction moving forward as Hillary will crush him if needed and his writings are just the substance that she would need.. Most people out of the NE would give him zero chance including the south
Just curious.. What does his say that appeals to you?
As far as I know, we agree on every social issue. We also agree on increasing the minimum wage, free university education, taxing the hell out of the rich, climate change, breaking up the banks, opposition to recent trade agreements, going further with healthcare than Obamacare, etc.

1. Who are the rich? Defination please.
2. Why should anyone pay for someone else higher education?
3. Who or what is going to pay all of these expanded entitlements?
How much do you pay in yearly tax and how much additional tax are you willing to pay for these prorgrams?
1. I'm mostly referring to the capitalist class.
2. Because a well-educated workforce is paramount for continued economic success.
3. Ultimately, we are.
I am currently not working as I'm a student studying Computer Science & Mathematics (although I have been applying for summer work), but frankly I'd give up almost all of my income if my general well-being were secured. I have not, do not, and will not work strictly for profit.
This explains a lot.. When you do not work, you have no concept of money and taxes.. It very easy to say hell yeah take from the producers and give to those who do producer anything.. This is classic Liberlism.. As you get older and start making money.. You will change your tune when taxes hit and you net it very different that your gross.
Liberlism finally collapses when you run out of others peoples money to spend....
Even if I change my tune on taxes and other economic issues, I won't change my tune on social issues and will never support the GOP.
I'm referring mostly to workers. People shouldn't work just for the sake of making money. The incentive should lie elsewhere. For example, an engineer should be an engineer because he's good at it and enjoys doing it. A teacher should be a teacher because she's good at it and enjoys doing it. Yes, being able to secure a healthy life for your family is important, but there's much more to life than money.Companies that don't seem profit are called former companies

Bs. Whose going to be a garbage man in this fantasy land? Who is going to pave roads in this fantasy land? Nobody does these jobs because they have a passion for it.
