But I'm not stupid. I know that the GOP will run a lot of ads about this and try to get some traction on it in the general. I doubt it will sway independents, because there is so much to counter it. But they've pretty much committed themselves to making it an issue at this point because, otherwise, they look silly for having spent all this time and money re-investigating it.

I'm sure that Gowdy's committee will release a scathing report, oh, say maybe August or September. Or earlier if the polling says they need a boost.

They sent no one. There is no excuse for this for any reason. Its just speculation by all parties if someone could have gotten there in time because they did not try. How could you not try? The only reason I can think of is the little weasel in the WH was hoping to downplay this attack, because it would hurt his election agenda, making it look like an uprising instead. If they sent troops all bets would be off and the heavy spotlight would be turned on. Not intentionally, but because of their unwillingness to send help immediately, things escalated and they ran out of time. Now they must cover that up or it will affect this election.

All I know is that there is a Squadron of F-16 Fighter-Bombers based at Aviano Air Force Base in Italy that could have provided close air support to the CIA team on the ground and a Marine Fleet Antiterrorism Security Teams (FAST) and a special operations force out of Croatia that was ready to move if Hillary Clinton had just done he job and sacred air space for U.S. Forces. That in itself is negligence.

If only HRC provided Stevens the security he asked for we wouldn't need a committee to investigate this. Because the 4 dead Americans would probably be alive today.

Therein lies the disconnect. Franklin Pierce said that even the leftists can't be happy or supportive of this sociopath (my word) yet here she is leading the race. (There was never any doubt that she would be the nominee anyway) So I guess it means that people like LG (the base) are even worse than America hating progressives (the party), as witnessed by her lead.

Yes she has.

So has Congress. Do they want to find her guilty or simply playing politics with all the investigations. Surely after 30+ hearing they could have tied her to something if they really wanted to.

If she didn't spend the taxpayer's money then Obama would have gladly taken another 4 week golf vacation to Hawaii to do so & to have Moochelle take another plane out to meet up later. :) Y'all see the blue font I used?
