Bench Tyler Bray.

Yea his sh!tty mental aspect helped Florida rush for a million yards. Tyler doesn't deserve all of the blame for that lose. If Hemingway was like you then I know why he killed himself.

In a round about way it kinda did. Predictable offense that put the Vols in a lot of 2nd and 3rd and longs allowed for a bunch of 3 and outs, clock stoppages, leaving the defense on the field way too long inevitably causing them to gas out. Point blank Tennessee abandoning the run too early was what cost us a chance from winning.

Benching Bray would guarantee Dooley's termination. Maybe it would be a good thing.

Good thinking. So who's the next coach that can bring in a representable recruiting class, new system, new coaches, etc. that will put us in the best position to win games?

I wouldn't be opposed to benching Bray at all. Id like to see what Worley could do with CP and Hunter. I can guarantee Worley won't fold and start whining like a d**n baby. He took a beating last year when Bray went down and never quit no matter how far we were behind.

For the Akron game. Send him a message that he's not as good as he thinks he is. I think we've all been easy on him because the team has been so bad. Well we had the talent to beat Florida this time and he still laid an egg yet again in a big game. Time for his work ethic and attitude to be held accountable and stop letting him cruise through padding stats against the Montana's, Cincinatti's, and NC States of the world.

I think it's time to expect him to play well, maybe even to play great in the big games. Tired of seeing his woe is me attitude and underperforming against our biggest rivals.

Dumb.

Going to bench your best QB on a team that has no running game. Worley is not a SEC QB, understand that.

Dooley doesn't have enough rope left to take a chance like that anyway.

Was it Tylers decision to abandon the run early? Also Florida knew all they had to do was concentrate on stopping our passing game cause we just couldnt get our run game going. My point was, Tylers mental aspect had absolutely nothing to do with that loss. If any player or coach deserves the bulk of the blame, put it on Chaney. No matter how bad we got our ass beat, we have to much talent on offense to only put up 20 points in that game.

When did I ever say anything about practice time? It cracks me up you guys are so offended about benching a guy for 1 game who has proven he can't handle the mental aspects of being a college QB.

Are you serious? The starting quarterback gets the practice time....or are you saying let Bray get the practice time....not Worley, but start an unprepared Worley? You aren't making a lot of sense.

Don't know who quit but somebody did..

Bray's gonna go out and sling it all over the field, hit every receiver, make some highlight reel plays, score a lot and beat up on a cupcake. Neyland will be the Happiest Place on Earth. Then Bray and Co. are gonna go to Athens, face adversity and make UGA look like the #1 team in the country. That's our pattern and has been for three years. Someday, this team will grow up, suck it up, overcome adversity and win. Then we'll have a new pattern. Maybe Saturday will be the day.

No, it wasn't Tyler's fault we abandoned the run. But him wilting in the face of adversity was not encouraging. We need some whose mentally strong for 60 minutes and not just a frontrunner. And I agree, this offense is way too talented to be held to 20 points.

will somebody please tell me why they thing worley will do better? stop bashing bray hes a vol and our quarterback you guys are acting like hes crompton

I rather have Crompton.
He is not nearly as talented as Bray but he was all Vol. He never quit. He took more bs than any qb I can ever recall taking but he still went to work ever day did his job and tried to improve.

The same cannot be said about Bray.

Casey Clausen was another guy with limited ability that did not quit.

I'm sure he won't whine. May not put up many points, though.

Exactly. I've been Bray's biggest supporter till Saturday night. He's a junior now, it's his job to step up and set the tone for the rest of the team. Yet he brings the whole team down with his front runner attitude. I never said start Worley from here on out, but if you let Worley start and play the first half that could send the message to Tyler he needs to hear. Y'all can call me and idiot all you want, but facts are facts. Bray looks like an All-American against average competition but against the big boys he plays scared. Wish it were different but right now you can't dispute that.

It is the coaching staff's job to know when our team is coming unglued and call a time out and try to help them regain their composure. Thus the end product will be what is highlighted in your post.

BTW....man I miss So Cal bro.
