Ok I see people making the argument against JG. Even though this isthenfirst season he has actually had a QB coach but fine. So whats Chrysts excuse? He got great coaching his whole career and he cant beat out JG? Hmmm...

JG isn’t the problem. You could go to Golden Corral and find guys who could block better than our O-line. They’re piss pour. I feel bad for whoever the QB is because they’re gonna be obliterated.

It won’t matter who the qb is. Except for maybe Thor, god of thunder, who isn’t our roster, our Oline is going to get them killed. JG will not make it two more games, much less the season, with his hesitation problems and the pathetic protection up front.

I have a feeling that JG will be out for awhile with a shoulder injury and be back after the Auburn game. Let the bigger QB run the gauntlet. Could be flat wrong.

Don’t get me wrong, I like JG and I know it would be better for the team long term if he was the qb but if they choose to play Chryst, I think they should use him like Kiffin used Crompton. He looked comfortable when he rolled out of the pocket and completed the ball to the receiver (Callaway I think). I think they are going to have to move the pocket and utilize the short passing game to try to help the oline.

With all the coaching he has had, KC should be able to roll left.

You ever hear of a pre snap read? Apparently not, neither does JG i guess. Probably been watching this game longer than you've been alive..There were multiple times if he had switched his protection he'd at least had a blocker to the side they blitzed from. The oline isn't good but he made it worse at times.

But, I will say this in his defense and that is that Helton could have really helped him out tonight but didn't other than calling running plays but even at that Helton seems unable to mix plays up or even to cause the other team any problems at all. That is not good. Should have been a lot of quick slants and curls and outs tonight but the play calling was so bad.
