Bench Crompton now (merged)

Oh.... so this is how the game works? I sign a petition on a message board, and the coaches do what I say. Good to know.

Useless thread dude - but yeah, I would love to see Stephens play instead of Crompton.

I just hate to think how bad NS must be if he can't beat out what I saw in the 1st half.:frown:

I'm still not sold. Crompton has the bad habit of making me re-think my anger towards him when he plays like he did in the last 3 minutes.

We need to play the 2 minute offense for 60 minutes...

I love our new staff, but to hear the excuses of our inept passing game each week angers me. I understand some plays the WR's may have ran the wrong route and tonight we also dropped about 3-5 catchable passes but how many passes were BEHIND on crossing routes, easy dump passes to our RB's low, the very few times he does avoid the rush and has more time to look for receivers he throws it away even though there is no DL near him, plus he has absolutely no touch on the ball - everything is 100 mph fastball whether it's a 5 yd swing pass or 7 yd slant. The frustration is overwhelming and it's not just the fans b/c obviously G. Jones had a problem last week and there was a serious issue on the sidlelines with our receivers this week yelling at F. Wilson. I do not want to hear posters say "Stephens has to worse" - I do not believe there is a starting QB out of the 119 teams in FBS worse. Give us Ohio's QB Theo Scott and we are at least 4-1 if not 5-0, this is just past the point of excuses!!! Make the change!!

My trust still remains in the decisions made by this coaching staff who see these players every day and not in arm chair coaches as myself ..... I think Stephens is better but I am not paid to make that decision, and I do not believe this thread helps the situation any, but only continues to harm it and our recruiting future

He isn't. We've seen him play and he isn't that bad. Kiffin just wants to make a point that he's going to stick with his decisions. But I think it's time for him to take another look and revise his decision. Maybe he will. Can't wait to hear some Crompton excuses tomorrow at 12pm.

Kiffin is an idiot if he doesnt even look at Stephens if for any other reason than to light a fire under his struggling QB. It cant get any worse. The recievers dont have confidence in him.

I liked the one where Cromptons almost took Hancocks head off with that pass. Hancock was not even looking for the ball because he was running some other play.

is this the same NS from last year? The one that led us to a huge victory over Wyoming?

QB is the least of this team's problems. We are devoid of talent and/or depth at every offensive position except RB.

Desperate times require a coach to expend whatever means he has at his disposal to right the ship, and Kiffin's stubborn refusal to allow the backup A CHANCE to provide a spark is biting him in the @$$...it's already causing dissent on the team. Much of the team (running game and defense) is busting their tail and Kiffin won't even try rectify the pitiful QB play...he's sticking to some noble platitude instead of reality....Stephens can be no worse, and there is competition throughout the offseason...why not open the competition up now until we see some improvement.

Hah, yeah what was up with that? I actually blame that on Hancock, although I still firmly believe Crompton sucks.

+1 for this thread, as useless as it is.

QB change must be made talk about not thinking a team can win/////// just get behind in the game with JC @ QB.
