I'm not sure to be honest..

He had a solid spring, was overshadowed a bit by Walker's great spring. IMO if Walker can play well early and demand a few double teams the line will be much improved this year. Martin and Dan Williams are both good players. Hughes was a monster in the spring. If he can carry that over to the season we will be in good shape.

We'll start hearing a lot more about these guys this week, now that coaches and media will be around.

I'm very excited about Martin and Walker, it gives us speed pass rushers on each end. But I hope big Dan Williams will be a rock solid stopper in the middle, he's really our only DL with experience and size. Wes Brown will play hard but with his size I'm afraid he's going to get pushed around at DT.

I could be wrong, but I look for Montori Hughes to take the starting job at the other tackle spot. The kid is still a little raw, but a complete beast. I believe it will be Dan Williams and Montori starting, and Wes Brown will be in the rotation. It might not happen before the season starts, but it will probably happen shortly into the season. If nothing else, it will be due to injury. Brown seems to have a tough time staying healthy.

I'm thinking the same.... although a FR starting at DT makes me a little nervous. Chase Nelson has played decent when not injured... if we're lucky he could be a surprise this fall.

I am not as worried about Hughes being a Fr since he played a year against JUCO competition.

It's not like he is a True Fr and he has plenty of size. I look for him to be a standout this year.

I also expect that Marlon Walls will be in the mix on the DL by the end of the year. He sounds like a guy we can move around all over the DL.

We have got to hope that Marlon gets cleared. It is imperative that we have another able body at DT, that is why Brown was shifted IMO. If MW is cleared then DT depth doesn't look so bad as long as Big Dan stays healthy. Chase better step up too.

Staying injury free has been his biggest problem. He should be solid if he can stay healthy.
