Behr's last will and testament.

This is the Sanibel causeway you can zoom in and tell where the section is missing. You can see ft.myers Beach in the background.

@Behr, I really don’t know what to say. Haven’t since I first saw the pics and read your posts. But I am praying for all y’all down there. Glad you’re out there making a difference for those less fortunate than you. Glad you and your dad finally got to get out to his house. Hate seeing what happened though

I'm the same. Glad they're okay, but hate seeing the damage

Well again, I appreciate the kind words but we're just dealing with life and I thought I'd share some "real time" pictures for lack of a better term. Thankfully we've been blessed with only losing material things that can be and will be replaced. Dad is fortunate enough to be financially secure and this is just a figure on a check and alot of work. He worked as hard as I did yesterday and he's almost 80. He had a car in the garage that he thinks was insured, but that's the only thing he thinks that will be covered.

What is heartbreaking is all the lost businesses and people that lived and worked there. Alot of hotels and restaurants that had thousands of employees that are done. They're talking about it being 11 months before the causeway will be completed.

It's not like "okay, let's get this cleaned up and get it all fixed and rebuilt".
