Behind-closed-doors battles pending at UT

When I was younger I used to always get mad at my mom for telling me not to do something before I even did it. Now I get mad when my girlfriend does it.

This story reeks of that same theory.

I always thought I wanted to marry a gal like dear old mom. I didnt know that mama was a damn nymphomaniac, life bleeding freak. But bless them both I love them.

I find it very strange that some of you would kick a player off the team for MJ but advocate cheating to recruit....a little two-faced don't you think?

It hurts everytime you do that. :cray:

Sorry you can't accept the fact that some folks out here (that wear orange) don't worship LK. Has nothing to do with PF.

Read Meat Market, you might learn something. Open access to Coach O's recruiting. Your agenda is becoming clear to most of us on the board.

I hope that the integrity of TN will continue to remain clean. That has been one thing we could always be proud of.

CLK, please don't stoop to the levels of Bama, you don't need to.

Can someone point me to a post where anyone is advocating this:
I can't believe some folks are openly advocating we do whatever it takes to get recruits.

I don't expect team Kiffin to lose too many battles....especially these.

Ah. I see.

I don't think the poster meant it that hardcore. It's just a phrase that sounds good in the situation. People take some of the things they read on here as the 100% gospel and can't catch the sarcasm or something written in a fascisious tone.

Why I thought 5150 knew what he was talking about, I'm not sure. :dunno:

Why wouldn't you? I think he is one of the most informed people on this board. He is also a model of what open-mindedness should look like...

And for those of you that have a tough time catching sarcasm, the above is a shining example.

Wonder why?

the older you get, the more conservative you become. it's like that with all aspects of life. especially if your money depends on it. it's like investing: early in life or your career you can avoid to take big risks because you have the rest of your life or career to make your money back or correct the mistake. as you become older it's hard to fix mistakes or poor risks that you have taken, so you play it conservative.

i wasn't taking your quesiton as a serious one by the way, i was just adding my 2 cents.

I wonder what our friends from Alabama think about the reason for Fulmer becoming more conservative this decade...

Like my coach used to tell me. "If you gotta cheat to win, then you don't deserve to win." While personally I dont see anything wrong with blowing smoke(haha), but if it's against the rules then I guess it's off limits. Unless we wanna be like Bama.

The thing is we never use smoke when players enter the field during games in the fall. So therefore it's a good possibility we didn't even commit a violation because the rule states you can't simulate a pre-game ritual at that particular school.

Had Lane and staff lined the pride up and let the recruits run through the T it would have been a secondary violation. Our AD just reported it to be sure.
And furthermore a secondary violation is nowhere close to the violations Bama did...

Yeah, some of the rules i think are absurd. I'm not saying we broke the rules. I was just saying about anyone breaking the rules in general.

And you are how old? I agree about investing, but I've become more free wheeling as I've gotten older and realized I don't give a damn about what anyone else thinks about me.

I have to ask this, and I'm not trying to be a wise-ass in any way, but did this coach and team win?
