Why would CJP tell the recruits the new OC name, I would think he would just tell them we have someone lined up, he is currently finishing out the season but we are sure you will enjoy/love playing for him. Maybe give a little more informaiton about what kind of offense they will be running and so on. Then CJP wouldn't have to worry about an 17-18 year old kid running his mouth..

It can be a big shot in the arm if a big name is hired. 9 days left that the new coach can be in home with recruits. That said, Pruitt can pick anyone on staff (off field) he wants to go in home when he is down a coach.
