Got it at Red Dog Liquors in Franklin (they held one for me). Apparently TN only got 5 cases and most in Nashville area. I know that Brewhouse Midtown and possibly Brewhouse Cool Springs have a few bottles, but you have to purchase and drink it there.

If we ever have a group tasting, I need to let you know in case you want to head up (over, down...whatever). Also, not sure if you ever talked to Joshua Scutella (bounty bev dist) or not, but he is no longer with them. He is a rep for Brooklyn Brewery now. If you need another name, let me know.

I'm pretty sure I did have contact with him, but haven't in a while and nothing came to fruition. Bounty Bev still in good shape? And I'm definitely interessted in a group tasting, just got 3 different Hill Farmstead beers in :good!:

Been looking for this here in my area. Finally found it. I have tried a few Shiner beers and have enjoyed them. This beer is considered a "spring time" beer. It's very fruity. Not bad but not what my tastes have been lately.

Saw this on display at Total Wine, almost bought a 6 pack. Would not have thought it was fruity based on the packaging.

Publix actually had it in there brewer pack stuff. Really starting to enjoy that. It's make your own six pack for 9.99.

Those are great. Bi-Lo is starting to get on board with the mix packs and the selection is getting better. I am only about 10-15 minutes from beverage world though. :)

Publix dominates Bi-Lo on that. I haven't been to Beverage World yet. I have been meaning to go but just haven't made it yet.

Publix defiantly dominates Bi-Lo but I am liking the trend. Most grocery stores are catching on. I want to see more growler fillers though.

Found a deal for a variety case just under $20, couldn't pass it up:

Sam Adams Lager - oldie but goodie, helped start the beer expansion beyond the standard macros.

Chocolate Bock - not bad, bit light for a chocolate, not too sweet. My least favorite in the pack.

Old Fezziwig Ale - Decent ale, above average. Only got a sip, bother-in-law liked it so vanished fast.

Winter Lager - one of the better ones in this category. Perfect for this time of year, reminds me a bit of German Fest Biers.

Holiday Porter - Liked this one but it is light for a Porter. Porter fans will probably be disappointed. Leans more in the Christmas flavor direction.

White Christmas - This was a pleasant surprise. Basic White beer with added spices. Nicely balanced and again, appropriate for this time of year.

Been a while since I've checked them out. Glad to see they have a few new ones that work.

Growler places can be great, usually have very knowledgeable beer people like 9296 & VolnTitan. I think much depends on local state laws. In SC depends on the license. Local one close to me is basically a small bar. They have local live acoustical music on weekends, you can taste for free, get pints to drink there or fill up a growler.

Others are not allowed to have you taste or drink pints there. That doesn't make sense to me, I want to know what I'm getting before I fill up a growler.

Our Publix and Bi-Lo do not have the pick your own six pack deal. Whole Foods has that but it is expensive, something like $10 range.

Bounty Bev is in full swing. I def. think there are folks there that might be more "attentive". Josh is a great guy, but think his focus was elsewhere. Let me know if you want a different contact.

Hillstead farms is stellar!

Hey Pots or anyone else,
Do you know anyone who has tried a nano brewery? I am doing some research and considering the idea of giving it a go. I would like to talk to anyone who has done it. Interested in TN laws pertaining to it and if they had trouble getting local pubs to put it on tap.
