Beer (and beer pics!)

I had a few SA Noble Pils. I have an early wakeup, this game isn't helping. I hope I can wake up happy tomorrow.

Anyone know where I can find the Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout or any of the Chimay beers in Knoxville? Also, has anyone ever had the Young's double chocolate stout or know if it is available in the region?

Well damn I was gonna meet a friend at Wall Street tonight for dinner and drinks but she can't make it because her babysitter is sick. Damn kids messing chit up for me, lol.

Youngs DCS is very good. I've seen it in the widget cans and bottles.

Sam Smith Oatmeal and Taddy Porter are fantastic too. Great choices.

Unfortunately, I have no idea where you can get them in Knoxville. Post your opinions on them when you do get some.

Oh, also, I am not a fan of any chimay. I just didn't like them.

Legends Porter - local brew in Richmond. Very smooth with a deep nutty flavor.

Thanks. When I get my hands on some I will post my review. I just recently got into the heavier beers and then I realized I had been missing out. Im in college and have gradually worked my way up haha. I have become a big fan of the Porter at the brewery and if I had to guess I would say that Sam Smith's beers will out do them.

Try some Newcastle if you have not already. And rogue has a good porter and stout. Oh and they have a brown ale too.

Ales are another good type to try.

I really enjoy Newcastle and I have had the Rogue Shakespeare stout at Barleys and thought it was pretty good as well. I have never had their porter though I will have to try it out. Thanks for the suggestions.

Mocha Porter! Mmm mmm. They have also had Double Mocha Porter on tap at the Ale House. Tasty.

My first mocha porter seemed solid, but just didnt like 'em thereafter.

The Youngs DCS on the other hand, was, and remains, as good as it gets, including Guinness.

I have discovered that they sale Samuel Smith's Oatmeal stout and the Brown Ale at the Fresh Market in Knoxville. It wasn't refrigerated however so it will be later on till I post my review.

Going to get a burger at the local burger place. They have Killians on tap at two for the price of one. :dance2:
