I haven't had the porter yet. I'm looking forward to trying that one. If you ever get a chance, try Michlob Black and Tan. I love that beer. Not as good as a real black and tan, but it's good.

I’m not sure where you live so I don’t know if these are available to you, but if you like Guinness you really need to try Left Hand Milk Stout and Duck Rabbit Milk Stout. If you are in Knoxville you can find them at Sam’s Party Store on campus and Leaf and Ale out west. The last I checked The Fresh Market has Left Hand but not Duck Rabbit.

Guiness opened my eyes to dark beer but these two have much more flavor and are all together on a different level.

I have heard it's pretty good. Mich's Pale Ale and Marzen are both good. If you find a sampler of the Mich craft beers its a good choice. As much as it kills me to say it.

I hate to say it but you won’t find The Duck-Rabbit in FL. You should be able to find Left Hand. Here are a couple of links to help your search.

Hey, any time. I am a bit of a beer nerd/snob. I have an upcoming business trip to Wisconsin and I’ve got enough time to go by one of the best breweries in the country:

New Glarus Brewing Company


The sad thing is that they only distribute in Wisconsin. But they put heaven in a bottle. I have to rely on friends, family and family of friends to bring it down.
