Beer (and beer pics!)

I used to love getting off work from a mid and drinking some beers before I head to bed.

Nothing like a cold beer on the porch at 7am while you watch the kids walk to school.

The first time I went to Galway, our hotel was right across the street from a pub that had a special license to be open very early in the morning so the guys who worked all night in the harbor could have a pint when they got off work. Six or seven in the morning every day, you'd see 15-20 burly guys milling around in front of this place with pints of Guinness in their hands. The wife kept trying to talk me into going over there for a breakfast pint, but I just decided it was too damn early -- not for the pints, but to have to talk to anybody.

While on vacation mind you, nothing like a cold beer on the way to the golf course at 7am in the morning to get over what you consumed the night before.

The beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad. So I had one more for dessert. - Johnny Cash

I picked up some Rogue Dead Guy Ale at a place down the road for the first time this weekend. That is good stuff...I've heard folks talk about it for a while...I was upset I hadn't tried it earlier!

Somebody recommend something new and exciting for me for tonight.

Guinness is easily tops for me, so come with something good or I'll be highly disappointed.

got a little crazy last sat night (thanks to a bottle of tekillya). alcohol and i are on a "break". man i miss cold beer already.

Bud ale isn't bad. A little close to SA Boaston Ale.

Sam Smith Oatmeal stout is excellent. More carbonation than I desire but it was really good.

Rogue Shakespeare stout was really good.

Try the Mich Ultra Lime Cactus. Puts the others to shame.
