There is still a football game scheduled for Saturday and possibly bowl game. With the bad title to this thread and the question that being irrelevant with football season still going on I would just go ahead and delete it because no way knowing for sure until football season is over

I'm not deleting a thread because someone got his panties in a wad. My question stands.

They wouldn’t even get to start practice until football season ends. Then they will be so far behind they probably would never see the court.

I understand the challenges, but it does happen and it was considered a possibility when they signed, so I'm just wondering if anyone has reported on it lately.

It hasn't been to long ago that a player at South Carolina did both. Bruce Ellington played both basketball and football at the University of South Carolina. After playing only basketball in the 2010 season, he joined the football team in 2011 and played both sports throughout his college career. As a football player, he had 106 career receptions for 1,586 yards and 16 touchdowns. As a basketball player, he averaged 11.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, three assists, and one steal per game.
