Beating NC State by 24+

The key was always going to be improvement in our running game. Without it, we could have 5 all-world WRs and it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference.

I say we run for 275 yards and win by at least 3 TDs. Graham and Pittman each get game balls.

I agree. That offensive line has something to prove. I say they drive NC states defensive line out of the stadium. If McCullers or Sentimore sacks Glennon one good time and knocks the wind out of him he's done.

i dont see any reason we shouldnt beat this team by 17 except for our georgia dome curse... we have everyone back except for da'rick and they gave up a ****load of points to every decent team they played... their defense got shredded repeatedly by offenses not nearly as explosive as ours and their offense struggled to score points against solid defenses which i expect us to have this season

I will pay. Post your email or phone and we'll get something set up.

Right. YOU post YOUR info.

But seriously, what's the best way for us to get in contact to make this happen. I'm chomping at the bit.

Additionally, if you really think UT is going to win going away but aren't comfortable with 24, give me another number you would take.

I always like making games more interesting.

I just want to go ahead and post this and get it out of the way, we'll beat NC State by 24 or more.

We're better at every position on the field, sans one cornerback. This is a team that lost to Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Boston College and Florida State. Their one quality win was against Clemson, who didn't have Sammy Watkins and turned the ball over 4 times, all in the red zone.

Look at who we lost to last year, the circumstances of each loss and realize we have better coaching this year, more athletic players, better conditioning and this Rogers situation is going to bring the team together more than ever.

Keep your head up Vol fans, we're going to make some noise this year.

It doesn't matter that we are better than them at every position.
We were better than Memphis at every position and we lost that game in 1996.
We were better than Wyoming at every position and we lost that game in 2008.
We were better than Kentucky at every position last season and lost to them.

This program has had enough soap opera stuff since 2008 to last it a life time. Hopefully, we can get our soap opera quota stuff done and not have any more for decades.

We haven't won a game in the Georgia Dome since the 98 SECCG, and we haven't beaten an ACC team not named Duke since we beat FSU. Just sayin.

If the Vols figure out they can put the hammer down on NCSU, it could get ugly quick. I don't see the team letting up for a second.

Spread's 4. Not sure how bright it is to give 20 more than the experts. Unless you know something that they all don't. I hope you're not a stock broker........at least not mine!

Consider revising.

Also, MOST of his yards came from weak opponents. You can't consider him that big of a threat because everyone on VN knows if it were someone on UT who only had big games against weak opponents you'd be the first to point that out.

Until he has quality games against quality teams, the jury is still out. I think our front 7 will do just fine all yr for the most part barring injury.

Too many 'what ifs' and 'wait and sees'

This is the same offensive line and 3 of the same running backs that could not run the ball at all last year , not to mention the same OC . TB being back may fix that ...wait and see

Never seen a 3-4 transition prove to be dominant in its first year , let alone its first outing What if they dont ?

Hunter back from injury may not be 100% , Patterson has all the physical talents but is a rookie at this level , Zack Rogers gonna shore that up ? Wait and see.

I like us for the win on paper ...but 24 ? Will be happy with a W

Tenn isn't even better at QB.

Way to back it up with facts berry. All you have is a few people think he will get drafted higher. If you look at any actual on field results, Glennon is better.
