We need to run Hardesty off tackle and up the middle to soften them up on the outside, then JC should be able to roll out for those passes he seems to be so good at. Hope hardesty can break one or two for 30 or more yds, then we may have some luck

Stop ingram, stop bama. If we establish the run, and if we play sound football we win this game. I'm glad the tide won tonight.....it will make it that much sweeter when we beat the #1 team in the bcs next weekend. Go Vols!!!

Bama's D and their blitzes scare the crap out of me. They are very unpredictable and they will get to the QB very quickly. Crompton has to make really, really quick and smart decisions.

Garcia, until late in the game, looked like he had pleanty of time to get the ball down field. Quick passes, slip screens/slants, and some TE stuff will kill the all out blitz quick. Our O must be sharp to win this game. Our D needs to contain Ingram, b/c you can't stop him, and they must pressure McElroy worse than they did Cox last week; a win next weekend is not a far fetched as some may think.

who will be guarding julio jones next week? I know he has been non factor because constantly doubled covered. I heard willie garzia say on kiffin show that we play man to man regardless. I just hope its not julios coming out party against us.

I disagree w/ the double coverage thing. I think Jones has been such a non factor b/c McElroy can't get him the ball, that's why they've been using him on kick returns, so he can contribute any way he can. No party for Mr. Jones next week, Monte already stole the cake and smashed the pinata.

Bama is gonna be in Crompton's face all game. If Crompton gets rattled early, our D better be ready to be on the field all game.

Ingram is a beast, but if we can make them as one dimensional as SC did tonight, i feel pretty good about the defense holding strong. More worried about our overmatched O-line against that tide D-line. That's just not a good matchup at all. Crompton will be using those wheels in this game.

totally. I wish we had gotten him. I think Ingram beat us, not Alabama, but then again you guys will probably consider me just another delusional Gamecock. We didn't hit on all cylinders like we needed to in order to win, yet on a weak night we stuck close to them most of the way. Not too happy with the play-calling in the last 5 minutes. But hey, I'm not the coach.

Please beat those inbred pieces of trash next week. PLEASE.

You played weak because our defense manned up and held you to zero TD's. Look at it this way, you stuck close to us on one of our worst games this year.

We had 4 turnovers, 113 yards worth of penalties, and our QB went 10-20 for 96 yards.

Congrats you get a big fat L!:eek:k:
