Wow!!! We know that everyone would want to win both. Your not a bad fan for playing along guys. Please stop saying you want to win both. That's not the game we are playin. Its ONE or the OTHER.

How could they? 25-1 vs UT is still awful....

And you're gonna deny that they would be trolling this site, IF they somehow pulled out a W?

I'm not saying they should be able to talk, but they will. And I would say that most people hate it more when people talk smack that shouldn't.

A victory over Florida this year would be a game I could watch for years and relive that increadable win. I wouldn't blink an eye at winning the 26th in a row over the kitties.

Another loss to Florida would hurt real bad...it sinks us further and further from the feeling of victory....a loss to KY, although it would suck, would be something we could shrug off real quick and be like oh well I guess we will just start another qtr century streak! haha!

Strength of Schedule and quality wins, plus a recent victory over top 5 team would have been on the pollsters minds. I think they still get in
I'm not so sure. Cincy was held in too high of regard, despite they're actual worthlessness. With Utah's win over Bama last year, I doubt they put Bama in over a mid major from the same conference, fair or not.

To me it would all depend on our record. If we were to somehow beat UF, but since we play UK so late in the season, I would hate for a lose to them to knock us out of some BCS bowl game.

Let's add a seemingly unknown variable into this question --

If, as most of you have chosen, elect to rather beat UF than UK but UF turns around and beats Kentucky then Florida becomes the record holder for most consecutive wins over another FBS school (also Kentucky).

I'm sure you'd still rather beat UF but is it a little saltier knowing you're giving up a record to a rival?

Not really... I only care about using that to throw in UK's face. I can still berate their program if someone else dominates them, and we get back to dominating them.

Thank ya. Cudi's my favorite artist that's out right now.

Actually, listening to some Cudi as we speak. :)

I'm gonna see Cudi in concert over the summer. Pretty pumped about that.

As for the topic at hand I'd definitely take the win over Florida. Its getting to the point where Florida fans are questioning the legitimacy of UT-UF as a rivalry anymore. We need to change that. Plus 25-1 doesn't really give UK much to hang their hat on. Then again if we beat UF that conceivably puts us in the SECe drivers seat so the UK game could turn out to be really important come seasons end...just sayin'...

I was thinking earlier about 2 streaks we have right now..... the streak we have against UK and the streak Florida has on us...... here is the dilemma....... Would you rather have our UK streak broken but beat Florida, or lose to Florida and keep the UK streak..... what does VOLnation think?

The odds of us beating Florida AND then losing to Kentucky in the same year in football are basically equivalent to the odds of me hitting the next Powerball lottery. It's not going to happen, so why even bother.
