Even though I am a UF grad, I am rooting for you guys to beat the bleep out of BAMA. They have been talking alot of smack and it seems that they have there heads in the clouds. It is the perfect setting for an upset.

GO VOLS!! Beat BAMA!!! :aggressive:

Heads in the clouds huh? Yeah, why do we think we are so good this year? I mean all we did was whoop up on a UF team that was supposedly a NC contender. What was that score again? Roll Tide!

I don't know where you got your information, but I certainly did not think that we were going to go undefeated and win the national championship in the first year of an installation of a new offensive scheme. I knew there were weaknesses on the team.

That said GO VOLS!!!

Well maybe you didn't have very much faith in your team but a lot of other people did. They were in fact #5 in the country and coming off a win over the #3 team in the country (which was a joke). I think a top 5 team with a win over a top 3 team qualifies as a NC contender. They don't anymore, now that Bama stole their lunch money, but they did.

That said ROLL TIDE!!!

Yes we were ranked #5 in the country, but that doesn't validate national championship contention so early in the season. So does that mean FSU is a valid national championship contender? I mean they haven't beaten anybody but a bad UM team, yet they are still undefeated.

How could I think that we were a lock for a natl championship with the way our O has been playing? C'mon give me a break. So your saying before you beat us that we could have beaten the Trojans, Texas, or VATech. I think not.

UF only jumped so high by way of default, b/c UT was ranked so high. None of the analysts were picking us to go to the Rose Bowl, especially Mark May.

Honestly, i think Bama played a very solid game against a good Florida team. (at least a good Florida defense) That by no means translates to us being the best team in the SEC this year. But if we can stay healthy and continue to play that hard, i think it's safe to say that we got some of our "mojo" back...even if we do end up losing a couple. Maybe this year could be a good stepping stone for us if nothing else. If we can beat Auburn or Tennessee, then to me anything else will be icing on the cake.

Yes I agree with you fully. BAMA came out determined and pumped up to win, as should any unranked team playing against a #5 ranked team at home. They played a beautiful game from your standpoint.

With all due respect, either UF was shellshocked at the beginning or we were just not ready to play on that given saturday. But I still believe BAMA was the better team that day. Who knows, but do you think the result would have been different if the game was at the SWAMP?

And do you think that they can compete with top of the nation as in USC, Texas, and VaTech?

bammers are hilarious. I love it. It would have made this week a lot more funner if bammer lost that olemiss game.

Hey bammerback, Ole Miss almost stole your lunch money huh. Guess you guys need a stronger man purse.

That was great. With that said, Bama is playing well this year there is no doubt.. they beat a good Florida defense, and a somewhat weak offense. Seems they looked a bit past Ole Miss to this weeks game against us. But remember the schedule has a tough ending, along with us your last two games are vs. LSU and @ Auburn. If they come through unscathed then hey, Bama becomes last years Auburn (meaning no NC game), but what a hell of a way to finish the season. I think Bama will have two losses before the close of the season.
