Joe is a “feel good” story……and really for good reason. Then he completed 68% for 251 and 3td’s with 0 turnovers…….that’s probably going to get you the MVP.
I would have given it to him too. However, I'm proud of Joe. He played well. He stuck with us when some other guys likely would have transferred. Then helped us get the win when Hooker was out. Doing it for your team.
Beasley would have also been deserving of the MVP trophy had they given it to him. 14 tackles, 2 sacks, 4 TFLs. He led the defense during a long stretch of offensive struggles, and was key in shutting Clemson down.
