Nice hires! Things are starting round out nicely! Hopefully all of the worry rats are starting to feel more comfortable now and will shut their pie holes for a while.

Growing up an Illinois fan and a Bears fan, I know all about this guy. He's a good coach for sure, even if the Bears had a miserable O-line this year. That wasn't really his fault, though, as they had very little talent.

His time at Illinois is important in that he developed some very good offensive lineman that now play in the NFL. David Diehl, Tony Pashos, Brandon Moore, Duke Preston - just to name a few. Like the article said, many more went on to sign with NFL teams. Plus, 12 all big-ten selections in his 8 years at Illinois. That's pretty darn good.

Looks like good guys - If I remember correctly TTU's O line always very strong and in shape - Chicago always a run first type offense - Now let's finish the weekend with some good young players that bleed orange! GBO!
