Bearcat fans blame officiating on potential loss: (merged)

-------------------------------

UT gave up 2 interceptions but they were called back for defensive interference.
If we face these kind of Ref's next week, we have no chance of winning.
UT 35
UC 24
I hope I'm wrong.

----

Sadly for the poster above, both were actually PI

I am a Bearcat fan. I never blame refs. If the game was close enough to be tampered with by the refs, then you didn't do your job.

I see the Vols taking advantage of our weak secondary.
Ten: 45
UC: 38

A preemptive ref whine is pretty comical. It's also funny to think that the two interceptions didn't occur due to Montana knocking the intended receivers to the turf beforehand.

You say one thing on a given thread, and then you totally contradict it on another. You do this ad nauseam, and I don't know how even your own fellow Vol fans put up with you, DJ Dipsh*it. I have been mostly lurking on here, forced to read your mindless drivel for a month or two, and you really are an amazing piece of work. And you talk sh*it about guys like Alpha who owned you and got banned for it.

You are the number one reason that opposing fans wonder about UT fans--all by yourself big guy, you did that. Congrats.

I hope you have the balls to come to Missoula one day, but I'm sure that you don't.

DJ Dipsh*it, Mr Snappy Comeback will no doubt have a snappy comeback for me, but I'm sure I will either be banned by your thin-skinned board admin, or not give enough of a sh*it to check back for your patheticially predicatable response, toolboy.

More likely the latter.

Monthly friend paying you a visit?

Have a Midol...or two.

What I can't make fun of Austin Peay?...... Geez guy, this is me saying cincy shouldn't be so cocky for beating the hell out of austin peay; who deserves to be a level or two lower than what they are. Not everything is about montanada my friend. I really hope you get someone to scratch that itch on you left nut before you completely lose your mind.

The Dline is legit. The corners....well we will know after Saturday. Oline (specifically the center) and the corners are the big question marks coming into this year.

Your D-line is legit???? AP ran for 127 yards against your vaunted D-line,,, A legit D-line is one that holds the opponent to under 80 yards rushing,,,but your "legit" D-line held AP to under 130 yards. A legit D-line would have held AP to minus yards. Don't worry about your corners,,they won't be to busy on Saturday. Worry more about that daunting D-line of yours,,Poole and Lane will be your worst nightmare. Question - do ya ever wonder why Collaros has to run so much??? Answer - cause the rest of the offense sucks.

Yeah, it's a bit odd that people think Bray's negated picks were his fault.

It's easy to pick off a pass when your bro five yards away cleaned out the receiver for you.

Our starters hardly played in this one. We were rotating in our top 8 the first half. The 2nd half was all the 3rd-4th stringers which is when most the damage was done. AP's offense is geared toward the run and their starting RB is supposed to be like the best in their little conference and we shut him down. Their backup got 65 of those yards at the end of the game, most during the final scoring drive.

Our run defense was not our achilles heel last season (For example, we held OU's Demarco Murray to 67 yards on 28 carries). As it wore out late in the year, we had more problems, but early on until a little past mid-season, we were pretty tough to run on. Our pass defense on the other hand, we pretty bad as we had no depth and little experience, especially once our #1 CB went down to injury early in the season. He is back now.

Also, a couple guys mentioned something about the refs. 99% of our fan base does not think that way (Not that I haven't done my share of yelling at the refs over the year, but who hasn't. It's theraputic).

Yeah, but you kinda play in the big least conference.

Do the Cincy fans realize that Austin Peay is a really pitiful team that only recently went back to scholarship football? There are high school teams in TN that could beat them....

Will Bray and company have a field day against the UC defense? Montana got Bray for three sacks. Will UC's D-line do as well? If they do, the field day might be UC's, because their back seven is better than Montana's.

I guess we will see.

Yes.
No.
No they aren't.
We sure did.
