Bearcat fans blame officiating on potential loss: (merged)

Cincy isn't as good as they used to be when Pike was there... I personally liked Collaros better than Pike, and Cincy was a fun team to watch. But they lost their best WRs then, and they aren't that amazing of a team anymore.. Just another Big East team.. We should win by a TD or Two.

They must not know our OOC record the past few years, we've lost plenty of home OOC games

They know. They are just preemptively coming up with excuses so if we beat them, they will have a "reason" why they didn't win. It's really kind of pathetic that they have so little confidence in their own team that they are already blaming the officiating.

Cincy has good players on offense. We definitely can't sleep on them. Pead, Binns and Collaros can all make plays in space. It is all about containing them on first and second down because their offense is all about getting the ball out quickly. Get them in 3rd and 6 or longer and they are not used to blocking for the qb long enough to get deeper into routes. That is where we should see our speed off the end play a factor.

Not trying to sound overconfident against their defense, but they don't have the talent in the backfield to contain Hunter and DaRick. They struggled keeping teams from scoring last year and we should be able to score 30+.

I thought the refs called a good game Saturday.. I think the thing about SEC refs are everybody would agree they suck, even SEC teams. The two PI calls Saturday were 100% correct calls, IMO

Both PI's were blatant. Hell, the first one included the defender literally pushing Da'Rick down in the opposite direction of the ball. You know the confidence they have in their program if they're using refs as an excuse for losing before the game even starts.

I saw both of the blatant PI's from where I was sitting in Section A. Which just so happened to be the Montana section. "Booo! Homecooking! SEC REFS!" then followed by the same fans wishing injury on Tyler Bray. Losers always turn blatant penalties into phantoms. I had a lot of respect for Griz fans up until that point.

I noticed two posts mentioning Binns. He graduated last year.

UC's only proven receiver is DJ Woods. He played mainly in the slot last year and has moved out so that McClung can be more involved this year. Thompkins is likely to be the primary deep threat.

Cincinnati scares me alot! They are very dangerous and a week before we play Florida. For some reason we never play well in that middle game before FL. I hope we win and I pray the team does their homework cause this will be a great measuring stick

Turnovers are the key to the game. If we have a couple we could lose this game, can't afford to give them a short field. I doubt the coaching staff is overlooking UC, and we should win this one.

It's a pass first spread. They had Mardy Gilyard 2 years ago and now they have Armon Binns and some other good WRs. Thye wing it all over the yard. Their RB is very productive, but I believe it's product of the pass first system. Collaros is VERY dangerous. Quite athletic and elusive. He's a player. Don't sleep on him for a second.

It isn't really a pass-first spread any more. That was Kelly's offense. It's much more of a classic run-option spread. Not much 5-WRs in this offense.

Collaros can make plays, but I think Isaiah Pead is much more dangerous.

There is a lot of talent at WR, but most of it has really just played one college football game. But they will throw it to a lot of guys.

You guys have to admit that you were extremely lucky Saturday. It isn't often that a team puts the ball on the ground 6 times and doesn't lose one. The one INT was definitely a result of the pass interference. Don't know about the other one.

WE are looking forward to our trip to Rocky Top. We think this team has gotten better from last year. We'll find out for sure Saturday.
