If you think Currie didn't run out the door and start calling every media person he knows after he was fired so he could start bad-mouthing Fulmer you are probably kidding yourselves.

I completely agree. It is a little unsettling that after most people here calling for Curries head now that he is fired are ready to be angry at his replacement. Maybe our anger is out of control.

I would like to see everyone come together, support Fulmer and the new coach and put this circus behind us.

There was definitely a sabotage here along with grown men acting like teen-age girls.

Don't kid yourself, Fulmer and many others were involved with all this.

I'm game with that. As long as Phil doesn't start mentioning losers. Give me a winner and I'm good. Throw names out like Morris, Doern, and the like and I'll keep raising hell.

I wholeheartedly believe Fulmer was involved and I have no problem with it. It was a set up to undermine Haslam's power.

I would bet money that Fulmer leaked the Schiano hire. I am ok with that. I am not ok with a Haslam puppet in the AD. I heard Hyams say on the radio the other day that a certain Mormon Coach on the West Coast would not be the coach here because of a certain booster. It was said when discussing if Peterson would be received well here as a Scientologist. So Currie goes rogue, again, and tried to hire Leach.

The good news is that I don't forsee Fulmer being a Haslam puppet.

We're more so pissed because of the fact that we had a potential legit HC lined up that and it was a guy 90% of the base was hyped for... only for the rug to pulled out.

Care to give any proof to that? Other than just your opinion? I haven't seen any credible sources on Fulmer causing problems. Just people "Thinking he probably did, or might have"

There were credible sources that indicated he had become involved with the search along with others. Everyone involved has been causing problems otherwise we would have had a good coach earlier this week.

No facts, but this does have all the earmarks of a coup.

Thing is, if they fail, someone loses their head and the one who was supposed to get pushed out instead has more power.

I’ve Never seen something like this play out in the public.

Agree. There's just no way for everyone to be happy and have their preferred people filling the roles of AD and coach. Some are just going to have to back the program and hope for the best. There are several coaches that 90% of us will back. We'll find out soon enough.

this is a haslem power play. He ousted phil because he wasnt a yes man and he used hamilton and currie to do it. I believe blackburn is the correct hire here, but if phil gets in haslem will not have the same leverage.
Likd the op says, ESPN is going to carry this narrative that all of this chaos is on phil. That is absurd.
