The Vols are ranked 13th in this week's BCS poll. This includes the following:
AP 14
Coaches' 15
Computers 13
-----------
BIL 15
COL 23.5
MAS 32
SAG 20

When averaged and compared to other schools, the Vols computer rank is 13th.

The top teams are ranked thusly:

1. USC
2. Oklahoma
3. Michigan
4. LSU
5. Miami
6. Georgia
7. Fla State
8. Texas
9. Ohio State
10. California
11. Florida
12. West Virginia
13. TENNESSEE
14. Iowa
15. Kansas State
16. Clemson
17. Utah
18. Virginia
19. Missouri
20. Auburn

LSU, CAL, & WVU are overrated. Corso picked the mounties to play in the championship primarily because they have a very soft schedule.

One thing you have to realize is that the BCS :bs: is not very accurate early in the season. This is due to the computers not having enough games to accurately rank the teams. You would be surprised at some of the teams that are highly ranked after playing only 1 game. I guess that is the main reason that the BCS :bs: gurus wait until mid-season to release the first poll. Even then its not as accurate as it will be at the end of the season. However, the Vols are usually rated better in the computers mid-season.... the easy schedule in November usually lowers the schedule strength component that each computer ranking has. :blink:
